I think BG can add a few quality snaps a game but we shouldn't expect too much tbh

Surprisingly he played 46% of the snaps last year. Didn't think it was that high. If he comes back, which we've been told he is, he only has to play half a season. His triceps should be fully healed. I'd think he gives them 30% or so a game?

Mukuba had a bad play along the sidelines that allowed JJ to score too easily. He needed to at least push him back inside. That's learning NFL angles, which are different from NCAA angles.

He also had a nice read on the INT he got.

He also had a nice hit at the goal line that kept the runner out of the end zone.

He made a nice play on the next down too, but the runner got the very tip of the ball over the line for the score. Still a nice effort by him. He's not huge, but he's willing enough.

Growing pains for a rookie. We were spoiled last year with Mitchell and DeJean stepping in looking like vets from their first snap. That's unheard of. And we got two of those guys. Campbell is outstanding in coverage... he's a true outlier, even amongst the outliers. As a rookie in his first half of the season. He's not as good in run fits. That's to be expected, again from a rookie. We have two very promising young rookies to mix in with two outstanding second year players.

Expectations are sky high for Campbell and Mukuba based on what Mitchell and DeJean did last year. We need to slow our roll, and let these guys have some rookie moments without getting the pitch forks. Yesterday was a little over the top about those two.

Did any of the reporters ask Vic why Mitchell didn't shadow JJ?

I’m pretty sure he did. He had him in coverage on 20 routes for the game. Factor in Jefferson moves into the slot so DeJean would have him there in those situations and they also played zone. I saw a stat that no CB matched up on JJ more than 8 times in a single game this year so it certainly seems like he was being shadowed.

If the Vikings purposefully lined up Jefferson against Mitchell 20 times with Jackson/Ringo on the other side they shouldn’t even be quality control coaches in the NFL.

In any event, the DC only talks Tuesdays.

The locker room is extremely toxic.

Thats the only reason they're bringing BG back. So he can bring those positive vibes. Maybe have his kids ask the players questions to lighten the mood seeing as though the toxicity in there is so thick.

How is it toxic?

It should be healed but who knows what damage was done rushing back from the first and re-tearing it. Look at what’s happening with Nolan Smith tearing it once and being way younger.

Is there a game on already?

Started at 7. We’re still doing double header MNF’s in week 7 for some reason.

Yup. Another MNF doubleheader.

Hear ya. But there's is a Domino Effect of him not here that brought us down a level on the entire line. Hard to evaluate it fully yet. Will see.

You really need to move on from Milton

Funny thing is Toth PFF is a 64. Whatever...

Well its PFF...he was getting blown up at least once every drive yesterday.

The roster this year is much more hollow than last year's. This guy who has been a PS dude for his entire career and couldn't even crack the roster most of last year but is now our top iOL backup.

I’m not sure some people realize how rare it is to achieve a 158.3 perfect passer rating in an NFL game.

There have only been 78 perfect passer rating games in all of NFL history.

Just to compare: There have been 322 MLB no hitters thrown. MLB plays 10x as many games and has been around longer than the NFL so throwing a no hitter is a "more memorable” moment but having a 158.3 perfect passer rating game isn’t too far behind, imo.

Jalen Hurts is only the 3rd Eagles QB to ever do it.

What’s wrong about it?

Edit. I read he was the 2nd - just read he was the 3rd Eagles QB to do it. Still extremely rare.

Interesting take. They are already doing the kids thing still. He also started a crap ton of drama last year with the Brown and Hurts thing. I think they just want a good crap talker back. The fact he plays edge probably helps a bit as well ;)

He’s the third

He's the 3rd. McNabb against the Lions in 07, and Foles against the Raiders in 13.
