If I was siranni I would not leave him home. Wtf lol. He made an incredibly stupid decision, he’s been ejected, he’ll get fined. That’s enough

Yeah bro. He got ejected and I'm going to assume he will say all of the right things, apologize to the entire team, etc. Hopefully it wakes him up a little bit and he realizes that some of his shenanigans are too much. Either way you don't leave your best defensive player who changes everything for opposing offenses off the field.

If I was Sirianni I’d leave him at home for the trip to KC. Watching Carter leave the field he looked like a guy who just doesn’t get it. Not sure how you reach him, but I don’t think a fine does it.

Can I ask why?

Do you think Carter getting tossed before a single snap and humiliated on the internet is not getting through but not playing in KC will?

Does a rookie 5th round pick need Siri to set some kind of example next week by not playing their best defender?

Who brings ribs to a football game?

Maria Taylor-

Dak Prescott warming up trying to hold them off. Are the Cowboys winning?

And he can apologize all he wants, the damage is done and I don't even think it registers with him. He needs to seriously learn and the organization needs to get it through somehow. You got Michael f'n Jordan watching from a luxury box and that's how this moron acts? Embarrassing seriously

lol mentioning Michael Jordan is a decision lol.

Sounds like you are projecting

You have no idea if it registers with him

MJ punched Steve Kerr in the face during a practice, his own teammate. Probably not a good example

Two nepo babies on this telecast with him and Collinsworth’s kid.

Good point, but at least Collinsworth is low fat vanilla ice cream and not a dog crap sundae with diarrhea fudge topping.

BVS done for the year, Brown concussion, Ship broken rib. Damn

Dak thought the officials overturned the fumble and Gabe him a TD for tackling Q

And Shottenheimer

My biggest concern with Carter is that guys are gonna instigate crap with him all year now and dare him to act rational.

No one has ever been suspended for spitting on another player. Fines yes. But the NFL is cracking down this year on player misconduct so I'd expect them to make an example out of Carter and suspend him for 1 game.

Player / Incident

Year

Discipline Imposed

Bill Romanowski → Stokes

1997

$7,500 fine; no suspension

Regan Upshaw → Miller

2000

~$29,411 fine; no suspension

Sean Taylor → Pittman

2006

Ejection + $17,000 fine; no suspension

Terrell Owens → Hall

2006

$35,000 fine; no suspension

LaRon Landry alleged

2010

No action (no conclusive evidence)

Trai Turner spitting

2021

Ejection + $15,450 fine; no suspension

Jalen Carter → Prescott

2025

Ejection; fine expected; suspension possible

I don't use the word hate much if at all regarding players, but Romanowski is one that I can say I honestly hate. He is a POS and always was...

The rib bone's connected to the neck bone?

Yes, and I don't know if he even really thinks he did anything that bad. Which is equally as concerning. Spitting on someone is so low and scumbaggish, I just have no respect or many words for that behavior.

Yup, spitting on a dude is low class thug behavior.

That one action has ruined this game for me, its been such a long summer and the lead up to this game and cowboys week 1 and the anticipation has been a lot and fir it to start with Something so selfish and stupid has just left a bad taste

SPIT GATE!!!! facepalm

The same Michael Jordan who racked up such bad gambling debts that the NBA was almost forced to suspend him until he "retired for a year" to chase his dream as a bus riding single A baseball player?
