With the rash of tricep injuries on this defense, perhaps preventative medicine.

Are triceps injuries contagious?

You see Hines Ward as a HoF WR? I just don't see it. He accumulated some really nice stats due to his longevity, but for me, the passing game of today makes the aggregate stats thing almost impossible to build a case upon.

I wouldn't put Ward in the top 5 WRs during his era, and for me, that's where we need to look for the Hall. Far too many really good players are getting in, rather than the Hall being about truly the best of the best.

I just looked it up and he was 2nd team All-Pro 3 times, and Pro Bowler 4 times. That's actually better than I thought he would have been. That raises him a little bit for me, but still doesn't quite get there for me. For me, Reggie Wayne is higher than Hines Ward for me, but I'm not sure Wayne should get in either. Steve Smith definitely should NOT, IMO, but that might just be me not separating his play from his personality.

That's true... but there's some folks around here who don't seem to think that trading Brown would have any kind of negative impact on this team.

They should trade AJ Brown for a WR that doesn't want the ball because that's the only acceptable attitude to have.

Maybe a technique thing - they are taught to shed aggressively, but the downside is potential injury.

Something I haven't seen any mention of was the massive brace on Nakobe Dean's arm. Looks like the kind of brace you'd wear for a biceps tear or something similar. I never saw his name on the injury report because of an arm issue, but that brace isn't worn just for the hell of it.

Depends on who his trainer is... is it Meghan?

I doubt Sue Opeta is starting this soon. Just got here. Been gone for a couple years.

Has anyone with credibility looked at Toth's play.

Apparently not Stoutland

Fwiw, nobody is getting much movement in the run game, but even in pass pro Toth is getting walked back and often requires help from Saquon (who incidentally is missing free rushers on the outside as he looks inside). A change here might help run and pass, is what I'm saying.

Everyone can see it

Except the fanboys who cant accept they were wrong on him.

I didn't like him coming out of college, but I never thought Josh Jobe would become anything or Rasul Douglas would become anything when he did. Some guys just go to new teams and new systems and play better. I can't rule it out for Ringo.

Come on. Opeta is beyond awful and hasn't played since 2023 because of injury anyway. I'm starting to think Dickerson doesn't want to or can't play center because of mobility issues. We'll find out on Sunday.

Am I the only one who feels really dumb calling Tariq Woolen, Riq?

Just use his jersey number.

At least people would stop blaming Patullo and Hurts for the poor passing attack.

Probably don't want to risk Brown getting hurt so close to the trade deadline

But say the two digits separately. It's the football way to do it.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/hall-of-famer-deion-sanders-says-too-many-players-are-getting-put-in-the-hall-of-fame/

"What is a Hall of Famer now? Is it a guy who played a long time?" Sanders said. "It's so skewed now. Once upon a time, a Hall of Famer was a player who changed the darn game, who made you want to reach in your pocket and pay your admission to see that guy play. That's not a Hall of Famer anymore. Every Tom, Dick and Harry, you're a Hall of Famer, you're a Hall of Famer, you're a Hall of Famer. They let everybody in this thing. It's not exclusive anymore. And I don't like it."

I agree with Deion
