IMO, that doesn't make him a POS, but it certainly raises an eyebrow from me and makes me question where his priorities really are. His post-Super Bowl comments really gave us a window into his mindset. Winning isn't his ultimate goal, for him to personally dominate the player opposite him is. That's fine, but that's not the culture of this team. He would likely be much happier elsewhere putting up big numbers and not worrying about the scoreboard. He seems to put a lot more of his attention on the stats page than he does the scoreboard.I'm really starting to think AJ and the entire team is enjoying gaslighting the media and talking heads. Almost like they feed off of it. After AJ complained last year (post close win over Panthers), then we light up Pittsburgh and Jalen drops "so that's that ya'll wanted to see?" In a weird way, I think the team feeds off the drama.

He's a team cancer at this point who only cares about himself putting up the biggest numbers possible and everything centering around him.100% speculation. Are you sure you aren’t Chicken Little?

I am pretty confident that AJ Brown post this week was put out there to gaslight the media and then be used as extra motivation.

I don't have social media, and except for seeing it here, would never know what was put on social media.I used to do social media, then it turned to political messaging, people pushing agendas, and self-promoting, etc. I miss certain family interaction it provided, but I don't miss the BS. The EMB is the extent of my online social activity. Some people have the ability to read and move on and not get dragged down by everything they read if they don't like the content, others, not so much. At least we all have the choice in what we consume and for the most part we aren't censored.I do understand why PHI fans would be upset by anything that reflects negatively or calls the organization/team function into question though. We are called FANATICS/Fans for a reason for real fans it is a very personal connection to your favorite teams/players and you want to protect your emotional investment as well as your fandom. This episode of Deep Thoughts with Jack Handey is now over.

In a weird way, I think the team feeds off the drama. He's an emotional guy who has a well-known history with mental health issues and like most of our younger generations today, uses social media as a means to vent and get frustrations out. crap, I see people way older or more mature than him doing that. It's just what the times are now. There's nothing inherently wrong with doing that unless he posts something like "Sirianni sucks, F the Eagles" or something like that. Which he has not. He posts bible verses and at times will defend himself in a benevolent way when reporters or pundits dogpile on him.The "distraction" thing is just sports radio bar talk mumbo jumbo. Years ago people decided that professional athletes are robots and/or infants and normal things that people in everyday life experience that aren't a big deal, somehow professional athletes can't handle it. You hear this garbage in everything from "This athlete shouldn't date this celebrity, it's a distraction!" Like, what? What does this even mean? Because AJ Brown makes a few social media posts that aren't nasty, the team won't be able to have film study or they'll be daydreaming about it during practice and not be able to listen to instruction? Baseless platitudes and cliches that aren't based in reality. A few players might get asked questions about it, they give answers that last for about 15 seconds, and they move on to the next question. Are players tired of answering questions about it? Maybe. But that's the job. I'm sure they're tired of answering questions about why the offense isn't performing up to standard, why they can't run the ball, why the OL is struggling every week too. That's what the job entails, answering questions.Ultimately, no one on the Eagles seems to care, it hasn't affected the team, so I don't see why anyone should care. It's just that people have perpetuated this narrative that AJ Brown is destroying the locker room in their mind, and each time he posts something, it's confirmation that the narrative is true that was never true to begin with. I have a friend who years back was convinced a mutual friend hated him because of a brief interaction they had. And from that point, he would perceive everything the guy said to him as a slight. It went on for like a year. And it kept building a building with every innocuous comment or interaction. One day I spoke to the mutual friend and he had no idea wtf I was even talking about when I mentioned what was going on. The guy never hated my friend. The idea that he did was totally made up in his head. He may have taken issue with some things he said or did, but he didn't hate him. I keep thinking of that whole saga with the AJ Brown situation. I'm sure AJ Brown has frustrations with things going on with the offense, but this idea that it's this growing entity that's about to explode and the team is fed up with him is something people have just allowed to fester in their own heads not based on any facts.

4 hours ago4 hr Apparently, if there are moves to be made, Howie is waiting until this week with the Bye week coming. Seems like they usually like to wait until they can get the acquiring player some time to learn the playbook/scheme. Still hoping for Chubb, an upgrade at CB2 or competent OL depth.
