BTW, this exact play happened twice in the Eagles and Lions games a few weeks back.

The Eagles fumble was stolen and the team playing the Lions got their fumble to count.

Its up to the whim of the refs.

on both plays, the elbow/upper arm was going forward.

If its supposed to be hand, then this one was very questionable and shouldnt have been overturned. Denver's was pretty clear incomplete to me.
