Sunday at 09:36 PM1 day So a few things that stood out to me…* After Lane talked about attacking the edges more in the run game, we’ve done a nice job of varying our run game. * Not only did we vary the run game, we actually blocked it up well! Shocking, I know. * The tush push will be banned. The refs suck at doing their job. Frankly, I don’t care if they ban it. I’m pretty over it at this point. That non-fumble was just an embarrassing miss. * Why the hell didn’t we play zone two weeks ago against Dart? Nice adjustment by Vic to simulate a blitz into a spy on Dart. * Mitchell is really good, but maybe we don’t need to let him play on an island on third and long. It’s OK to give him safety help. The Slayton TD seemed to get a lot belly aching on social media, but Slayton shouldn’t be allowed to create that level of separation during "hand fighting.”* I’m just happy to go into a bye with a win. 6-2 is nice despite not playing our best ball. Usually the offense stinks without Brown, so no complaints from me.

Cam was clearly not right and his knee injury may have been a blessing in disguise just like Dickerson's most recent injury. All credit to these guys for gutting it out, but they aren't playing anywhere near what they are capable of by playing through injuries. Let's hope Cam can get healthy sooner than later.

I would say the biggest difference in the defense this season has gone from going to Slay/Rodgers as the other outside CB to Ringo and Adoree this season. Ringo had a nice game but I'm not willing to count on him in a year we are trying to win another Championship.
