It’s not just this play or really anything in general. It’s a cumulative effect of there being some injuries this year, the non called false starts, the 4 tush pushes in a row and now this is on top of the majority of the NFL wanting it banned in the first place.

But my point is if they ban the push in the offseason and the Eagles line up in the same exact formation, except they have Jalen Hurts use his strong legs to drive himself for a first down instead of teammates pushing him, then what will the narrative be next season if they blow a play dead early on forward progress before he fumbles or they miss a false start? They can't say "They simply can't officiate the tush push properly!"

So what will the outcry be then? "Ban QB sneaks!"?

The narrative will be "Eagles are the new Chiefs”

Tbh some of that’s already happened on Twitter. But also it’s why I said I would not be surprised after they banned the tush push, then another team down the road says we want to ban the way the eagles run the tush push in that formation formation. We saw them come up with BS reasons this off-season trying to ban the tush push. So I would not remotely be shocked if some team brings that to the table wanting to get it banned.

Since the bye last year: (playoffs included)

Jalen Hurts 20-3 record 34 passing TDs 3 picks about a 112 passer rating with 27 rushing TDs

Jalen's a killa. No doubt. We need to work on that defense a lil more. Was a work in progress with all the offseason losses. Couple players short right now.

Giants don’t get that big sideline wheel to singletary on 3rd down if Campbell is in over Dean there. But obviously Dean is just a better traditional insistence linebacker - where Campbell is just a pure athlete who can really do whatever you want him to do. Neither or knocks on either player.

Once Dean figured out how to tackle middle of last season, he’s def been an amazing downhill backer. He really does struggle in coverage if he can’t keep coverage in front of him (though his game sealing INT against Jax last year was the catalyst that set the SB run off IMO).

Campbell is a beast, but i think he’s still a bit too light for what dean provides. At edge he’s semi lost too and i worry about his health. He’s too small for there. I’d like to see them use more of the 3-3 looks we saw today against bigger sets.

In the Bengals managed to be a worst defense than they were last year department

Goedert has already set his career high for TDs with 7 so far. Only took him 8 games to do so. He’s a serious weapon in the red zone. That would have been a disaster letting him walk after last season.

I want to clarify that Hurts played well aside from his idiotic decisions to not throw the ball away several times. I just hate when people dismiss god awful plays/games because "oh well we won" or "we got the first down anyway".

How many times have we seen a second and long run actually lose yards? What about the 3rd and ling cowards draws? What happened after that sack is almost literally the 1% of outcomes in that scenario, so to just poo-poo Hurts taking a 20 YARD SACK is ridiculous.

He set it at 6, strangely enough. He never had a monster year but you would figure he had more than 5 at some point. Unfortunately he’s now pricing himself out for next year.

My bad, Didnt know it was Johnson but that makes sense, PJ has no business on coverage.

Campbell to me looks like hes hit the rookie wall, been a while since hes made a play, hopefully the bye will recharge him for the stretch run, still lots of ball to play.

More times than not, if a LB isn’t noticed in coverage they’re playing well. I don’t think Campbell hit a rookie wall at all personally. Vic is manufacturing pressure, which the shift to Dean as a better tackler and gap plugger makes a lot of sense with the way he’s trying to work the front.

It's a fine line. Come the playoffs, you want them losing to us in the NFCCG. That way the pick they gave to Dallas would be 29 or 30.

Honestly i don’t think whatever the pick is, Dallas will do much good with it.

Hurts is reverting to ‘22 and ‘23 in the pocket hurts a bit, but he’s been effective. I think they took a bit of the ‘conservative play’ chains off him. The team has some really good film to review and work on. This might be the first game this year that most of their film review will be overwhelmingly positive.

Patullo called a better game (still struggling to get play calls out at times it seems). I really think he struggles with situational playcalling and setting up plans on the fly. If this, that…if not this. Predictive play calling and forward thinking will hopefully come better with time.

what’s funny is Gronkowski and kelce were both over 1150+ yards that year. And goedert is on pace to just have around 615

Wild…watching some clips and breakdowns, that’s absolutely insane with Fields as the QB.  He was pretty bad no matter the stat line.  Hall had a ridiculous game.

The Eagles magic number will 4-5 games if Washington loses tomorrow. I just don't see any of them getting double digit wins this season.

Similar production as Milton but at a fraction of the cost.

@HazletonEagle has resorted back to the full on trolling schtick now to save face after Hurts has somehow made him look even dumber than we already knew he was over the past two weeks. Did the same thing a few summers ago when he was convinced that Carson Strong was gonna win the job only to get cut. He’s that annoying guy that always "only kidding” but everyone else already knows he’s slow so they tolerate it.

He was just pretending to be dumb and know nothing about football to trick us! Ha, he got us so good!

Once Campbell starts coming downhill like Nakobe, which I think is a function of more experience and added strength, we’ll have a complete package. Rather than hanging on Dart’s ankles, he can be blowing the guy up.

He’s not stupid. He’s got a shtick and it amuses him.

Yup it’s bad. The bengals in their last 25 games have scored 34 points or more 7 times. They are 2-5 in those games. In games scoring 30 or more they’ve gone it 6-5.
