I don't really care about the cost. Rather have a dominant line with Carter, Williams, Davis & Ojomo. MW plays everywhere and is a monster. Ojomo plays one position. Was Howie worried about the cost in adding Parsons? You're telling me the line is just as good this year? I like Ojomo, but he won't be here in 2 years. We will see about JD. Then what?? Carter playing too many snaps and hurt. I rather have MW/Carter as my core going forward. Almost 4th round compensatory pick which we get for MW helps us in how many years? Offensive line was getting paid and would be shifting to Dline getting paid. Besides, Howie had a year to sign him for much cheaper than eventual contract. I'm not gonna pat Howie on the back for MW decision. One injury there and we are done!

Anyone else with a continually lagging/pausing feed of the NBC broadcast theough cable?

Very annoying, hasnt gone away and I've tried resetting the box.

Imo I think Milton Williams is a better player but not a $100 million player. Trust me I’m a huge fan of milt. He was a guy i loved coming out of La Tech. the reason Milton Williams isn’t here, is because we use money to sign Bryce Huff in the 2024 off-season when realistically we probably should’ve given that money to extend Milton Williams then. that said I can’t fault Howie too

Much because if Huff would’ve hit, he’s exactly what we need right now. It’s just that Huff sucked here.

All I said was that Ojomo is putting up numbers comparable to Williams. Letting good players walk in FA is a harsh reality of the salary cap era. I'd love to keep everyone but I also understand that it's just not feasible in some cases.

I'm not gonna deny Ojomo his praise. But the sacks seem to be coverage sacks in many cases like today. Williams storms the QB (last time we saw him) and feeds off of Carter. And vice versa. Not seeing that same fury yet in tandem.

Half of the defense walked. Just a very risky deal. Would have been okay with a couple of them staying. To sign only Baun is kinda crazy. Off of a Superbowl quality defense.
