I believe him (as the mauler with good mobility) and Jurgen (as a key puller, get to 2nd level quickly guy) are the two biggest cogs in our run blocking scheme. Both being hurt has been the biggest thing holding back the run game.
2 hours ago2 hr If the Chiefs win the next 3 then they take control of the AFC. Me, I will wait to see what happens before crowning them SB Champs.Should the Bills, Broncos, and Colts even show up for the games? Its possible that the 2025 Chiefs are the greatest 5-3 with 1 whole road win team in NFL history.

Davis has played well, but he's not Williams destroying the middle and they don't have the depth at edge with Sweat to put the constant pressure on them. We'll see. Maybe Mukuba continues to grow and JB adds something. I felt good after the game but I wouldn't mind Chubb and a CB now. It's so unpredictable. We have young guys who can step up but hard to project what they will do by then. Think we can use more playmakers added here. CJ did bring that element. Q is good but not a ball hawk. That leaves Reed who has been just okay. Maybe Makuba is the wildcard here to grow more in that aspect. Feel good about offense and never was really too worried about that part of team. If we were to get a legit CB2, that would be a gamechanger here.

Especially, with the AFC being as weak as it is. It's before the trade deadline. I think the Eagles can beat them, but I'd like some more help on D.

Kind of like the Eagles. Didnt even have Trey Smith or Simmons and still walloped them. I think they are going to be peaking come December. I've seen this script before with Andy Reid teams. They will drop the Bills, Colts, Broncos and whoever else. I'm not 100% sold on them, but slightly more than I am on the Eagles. This league changes weekly, so we will see.
2 hours ago2 hr Howie really should have bought low on Nakobe Dean while he was rehabbing. He's going to get paid. I hope it's here.

No excuses but there are still 9 games left. It's not over but the Eagles are in good shape going into the bye week.

It would be great if he becomes the Dejean of this season where the defense took off once he came in. The minus here tho, Campbell's development may be hindered here. Can't see Eagles resigning him with Campbell, Baun and Trotter in tow. And many other team needs. There's going to be collateral damage every offseason going forward. I would add Blankenship in there as not getting signed.

To me it feels like he might only have a 2 year contract they can get out of before 2027? Maybe I'm wrong with that. I don't want him gone, just trying to figure out if giving Dean a contract is feasible. Could they sign Dean knowing in 1 year he takes over?Zack Baun signed a three year, $51 million contract with the Eagles. $34 million is fully guaranteed including a $15.58 million signing bonus. Baun's 2026 compensation is also fully guaranteed and the Eagles have the right to convert $15.5 million into an option bonus. There are void years for salary cap purposes.2026 Option Bonus: $15.535M2027 Option Bonus: $14.405M2027 Roster Bonus: $1MNakobe Dean is 25 in a 2 months. Zack Baun will be 30 next year. 5 year difference is huge. Baun is a fantastic LB with lower wear and tear on his body than most LB his age so he might be a "younger" 30 than most. The Eagles very well might see Trotter as the heir apparent to Dean and Mondon shows promise. They could bank on Dean getting a huge contract and getting their beloved comp pick for him. I just love what he brings to this defense, especially in the run game. I hope they find a way to keep him. Baun and Dean are fun together.

Not quite as good for Guard, even less ideal for Tackle. However, his experience playing both Tackle and Guard, plus his USMA education/training/mindset makes him a very intriguing player. Stoutland kept him for a reason, despite all the travails both in Training Camp and in live games. He obviously saw something and was willing to work with it. Like Baun, he is "younger” at his position than his age on the calendar. It will be interesting to see how the next few weeks play out.
1 hour ago1 hr Umpires are doing all they can to help the Dodgers win tonight. Guy was obviously safe. No need for a replay.
1 hour ago1 hr Does Clayton Kershaw blow this? Based on Phillies series. Heck yes. May he have a Mitch Williams moment...
1 hour ago1 hr Brett Toth makes the team play a different style which is better for them and the running game. Playing well in his role as it fits his limitations and is smart when it comes to setting up the offensive line calls and protections. Never seen such a 360 in a short time on an Eagles player who had such a bad 1st impression. Could be that Center is his best position. Bad everywhere else tho. Stout saw a guy who was versatile and one he can trust. Looking smart now.
1 hour ago1 hr If someone is going to win this for the dodgers it’s Edman. He hurt and saved the dodgers ass 3 different times with his defense. Someone is going to have to pop a Homer at this point.
