If you can carry the weight without losing quickness or strength as a lineman, carry as much weight as possible, even as a LB really, cover range may suffer. It’s just harder to do at the skill positions, you may keep that sudden twitch but top end speed will likely suffer. Just an opinion from a fan with average FB knowledge.

He gets very little push rushing the QB and in fact barely gets off the LOS. He is not nearly ready to contribute. He needs to really pick it up next spring or he could go the way of Keegan and Anias Smith.
