I've been very vocal against Patullo this season. Last game was a night and day turn around from all season. I honestly didn't think he had that in him. The sequencing of plays, pulling extra linemen and running a 6 man front were all great improvements. Kudos to the staff on this performance. There will still be growing pains with a new play caller but this game showed amazing progress and potential. Jokingly, it feels like someone else was setting up the offense. Keep up the good work KP.

We face two top 5 run defenses the next couple of weeks so I expect a level of regression to the run game. This was the first week that the scheme assisted the run game and amplified it. How it's going to show out against legit run defenses is questionable. The good news is that after the next two games, we don't face a top 10 run defense the rest of the year. The Raiders, currently 13th, and the Chargers, currently 16th, would be the toughest remaining run defenses.

These next two weeks, after the bye, are going to be all out war. Green Bay trying to validate the NFC runs through Wisconsin and the Lions trying to prove they should have won it all last year. These are likely the tie breakers for the #1 seed.

CJ in the slot is pretty good. But Eagles made it clear they weren't gonna have any part of him. I like the dude!

It's possible but that movie came out in 2003, which would make him 5 years old at the time. My guess is he sent someone to spirit halloween to grab the first janitor costume they saw. I doubt they put that much thought into it, most of the costumes are pretty generic in that photo.

Last year I maintained a confident stance that this team was focused and was going to win a Super Bowl. Keeping that same energy for repeat season!

Howie traded away CJGJ, then had 2 opportunities this season to sign him for nothing. The Eagles did not want him. He's been on the team twice and there are reasons they don't want him back. This year proves it wasn't finances. We may not like it, but it is what it is.

Since you brought up Jesus Christ, I'll share that I've been doing some studies on ancient history of that period, Roman Empire and beginning of Christianity, etc. Some pretty interesting viewing/reading on some of the early Julio-Claudian Dynasty roman emperors -- Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero -- life certainly was different back then. Amazing architecture and design of ancient Rome -- in some ways better than today.

By my rough count 39 of the first 50 roman emperors were violently killed, either by the senate, Praetorian Guard, their own soldiers, family, etc. Roman Emperor seems like a great job while you have it, but you should have a well-defined exit strategy.
