Or it could be reagor, Barnett, Marcus smith…. Hate it when people act like every pick hits

Why would the Browns ask for the three 1st Round picks rather than Smith, Mitchell and Campbell? Or alternatively Carter, Mitchell and Campbell? That would take the uncertainty out of the trade for them.

It wouldn’t matter because they still wouldn’t have an offense

We've had a Cox, we have 2 Johnsons and a Dickerson. Now let's add a Chubb.

We had a Dick too.

My biggest concern about Myles is the same issue with Huff. How would he fit in the scheme?

Yeah me too. He might take all the sacks away from the other guys and disrupt the harmony.

Welp, YouTubeTV and ESPN finally did it. No more ABC/ESPN channels on YouTubeTV.

Can we just go back to cable?

Did someone force you to switch in the first place?

I was told that Jalen Hurts is a 1st read merchant.

Please, these tables are a lot of horseshit for rubes, how do these guys have everyone's playbook to even know what first read is? What about plays where QB spots a coverage match up pre snap like a go route receiver has a press corner and watches to see if he beats him off the line for a 20-30yd chunk instead of the original first read for 8yds? It's stats for the sake of it based on what it looks like or maybe even as basic as the time to throw, it makes PFF ratings look like impeccable empirical science

They have the bye week to work it out. Going to miss the Vandy Texas game tomorrow, that’s not great.

What

Good. I know everyone hates the Cowboys so much, but it’s time for that to stop. Better these guys go to Dallas than a contender in the NFC (or even AFC).

At first, I didn’t like the Carter trade because I’d honestly rather see Ringo than him. When you look at it through the perspective of Dejean, it makes sense. Carter gives them slot CB depth and the ability to bounce Dejean outside at CB if things fall apart. That’s really nice flexibility. I don’t think Carter should be viewed as any answer, but it gives them options.

I bet you wont miss it.

Only because I’ll be watching Penn State.

Well this is the interesting part of the exchange rate between draft picks and cap space. Draft picks have uncertainty, but they also present production over cost.

What is the draft value of a pro-bowl player on a 2nd or 3rd contract that pays him perfectly accordingly to how good he is? In theory, you could just sign a comparable player in FA without burning draft capital (of course they aren’t always available every year, etc).

Draft picks have uncertainty, but they also have 4 years of control and the promise of production over cap hit. Let’s take (Devonta, not Nolan) Smith, Carter, Mitchell. Smith is already getting paid for his production, so he has that aforementioned question of what he’s actually worth in draft value. Mitchell only has 2 years before you do the same. Carter has 1. So adding those 3 players means the Browns, a rebuilding team, now can’t really be big players in FA for the next couple years because their cap has to focus on keeping them around. Get 3 first round picks….and you get to kick that cap can down the road, use those picks on new talent, and sign the best FAs on the market.

Not only that. But I bet those channels will be restored by then.

Ah - no state budget, no federal budget - I figured prolonged standoffs are just the new normal. Big if true.

Not in this case. Have had youtuve TV for years now. These things happen regularly. Most of the time they are resolved before the deadline. Very few times it reaches the point where the channels are yanked, and they always come back like same day, maybe next day. I never get worried about losing channels. Have seen this play out enough times.

Maybe other companies like DirecTV have left scars but youtubeTV has earned trust until proven otherwise.

Yep I think they'd love it if Ringo or Bennett were good starters but if not they have the option of a Q-DeJean-Carter trio. Getting a starting CB on the outside at the trade deadline that could come in and immediately learn the system and be good was a tall task

lol...I remember when you shared your 40 time...you will struggle to qualify for a security guard who tackles wayward fans running on the field

Was a bad day 🤣😭. Who knew you needed to practice running out of a track stance 🤷🏽‍♂️. These days that time might actually be accurate!

I'm surprised it actually happened but I can't imagine it will last long. YT TV would have to lower their monthly price pretty significantly if there is no ESPN, Disney, ABC.

Wow.

The issue now is that the Sunday package is exclusive to youtubetv. Fans like myself and others that don’t live in the Philly area need it in order to watch Eagles games.
