Eagles doing what they did when getting Suh/Joseph and putting a patch at CB til end of season. Hope one of these guys catch lightning in a bottle for a stretch of games. They will both try to resuscitate their careers and should be motivated. Maybe the change of scenery and better surrounding personnel do the trick. Glad to see Howie's not done trying to address weaknesses. Figured we see at least 3 trades here for the deadline. Can even see 4. Now get a vet DT and or DE.

Lol guy is cooked. Another meh move

That's why it didn't cost much. I don't get what people expect

I'm not certain Jaire is better than Bennett at this point.

That's a troll account. He could very well be washed, but in fairness to him, a couple games I don't think are enough to tell for certain. Especially if he wasn't healthy.

Meh. Im just here for all the folks who’ll complain that the 6th rounder was way too much bec the player we would’ve drafted would’ve been a HOF stud instead

Not much else to do

Theres no time to screw around with "lottery tickets". Theres no time to experiment and see if they work out. The team is heading in to the 2nd half of the regular season and hasnt even gotten to see Bennett play yet. Already added a new nickel CB that we dont know the plan for. And now just added what looks like another backup CB.

My hope is that there is more to this than "lottery ticket". I hope its proven depth in anticipation of trading some other CB that hasnt stepped up to take hold of CB2 yet. Probably Ringo.

What other moves are there at rhis point? Lottery tickets for cheap is the market

Im not sure you are hearing me. I dont know what to say. Im complaining that they havent traded for a CB better than Alexander. Though, if they are keeping Ringo and Bennett, they really needn't do anything at all if Alexander was the only option. Again, I think/hope this may be a precursor to one of our CBs being traded.

I don't think anyone's come close to thinking that

Alexander is washed, yes? Feel like we had plenty of chances earlier to go here and it was meh then.

JA has been a healthy scratch on a team with bad CB play all season. He’s probably emergency depth.

Surprised Gilmore is still at home.

Did he retire? I swore he was still a FA

What happened to Epps?

The last time I saw him he made a devastating hit late in the Giants game. Could have gotten banged up from it. Who knows

I can see Ringo going

Yeah I remember that. I thought it was more him throwing WanDale Robinson down hard more so than a big hit. I did not realize he was injured at all.

We don’t know that yet. He might have been dealing with some sort of nagging injury in Baltimore.

He’s only 28 yearsold and just last season in 7 games he had 2 picks - one of them a pick 6.

There was one more big hit in garage time he had outside of that ragdoll.

At CB, Ringo and Adoree had their auditions and aren't gonna be it this year for a Superbowl contender, thus the 2 trades.

At DT, Young and Robinson aren't gonna be it this year. So can use one vet DT there. Would gladly take Calais Cambell there. Will be good as team depth and a credible fill-in, JIC Carter shoulder injury woes pop up again. And can give him less snaps as well.

At DE, now with Ojulari out and Nolan Smith's injury history need to get a proven guy and not a patch or rehab case. Chubb and Jermaine Johnson work for me. Let go of a conditional 3rd if you have to Howie ...don't be stingy!

Still gotta grab 2 vet guys here to feel like we made even incremental progress here. Not counting on young guys getting better in these positions to be enough. Hopium in most cases.

Well, seems like he’s motivated to play. Let’s see what Vic gets out of him.

Alexander the not so great

He hasn’t been good. No spinning that. If he turns into a starter it’s a miracle move. Seems like a desperate dart throw. Minimal cost obviously but a bit odd

This is a "why bother" trade for me. I'd rather have kept the 2026 6th rounder.

Wonder if Howie consulted Vic on this one. Always changes how I feel about a defensive addition
