I like the dart throw, there's upside there. Adoree and Ringo are not good. Bennett and now Jaire at least give some optionality. Our DB coach knows him well too.

I'm not upset, the cost was low. But, like I said... most of the time, you get what you pay for. We paid for nearly nothing... so I expect we'll get nearly nothing. If we get more... we celebrate!

Good news guys, random internet guy is going to watch some tape.

Oh cool. He’s actually really good when you include one of his all-pro years, 3 years ago

Score!!!

I don't like the Jaire trade, but all these CBs moves scream "good CBs aren't available, so let's roll the dice on a lot of options and hope for luck"

Also screams we really don’t like Adoree and Ringo

Dolphins beat guy says Eagles really want Jaelen Phillips and hope they can get him for a fair price.

My brother's, girlfriend's father has a cousin that works with this guy that knows a Eagles janitor that says it's a done deal

Ugh - Cornhuskers going with the generic unis.

Vanilla Gorilla bye week sighting.

Best agent ever!

I have a lot more optimism about Alexander than most, mostly because of the Fangio and Parker factor.

We just need him to be as good as Slay and I think he can be.

Funny thing I've been saying for years that I just didn't see it with Ringo, and I kept being told how young he was. But no one ever made the case that he was actually good, just young and could maybe become good some day. Trouble is, youth wanes... and quickly. He never got better. He's still a good ST player, but he's not a CB. He can still make a nice career for himself as a ST ace, but that's pretty much his ceiling. It's a really good thing that we hit on both Mitchell and Dejean... and that the rest of the NFL let both of them fall into our laps!

‘Just need’…that’s a tall order if you’re talking about slays level of play last year.

So already an upgrade on Jackson.

Dolphins fans aren't too high on Phillips. They don't think he's that good and they say he's a terrible tackler and his injuries have diminished his pass rush ability.

Just listened to Fran and he said what I said. He’d be surprised if Adoree is on 53 by next game

Ringo can probably be an ok starting outside cb if he can know the routes he’s facing. He lacks flexibility and that impacts change of direction.

Here's the way I think of it.

Ringo and Jackson are not working out. We still have no idea about Bennett. We gave up pretty much nothing to get Alexander so either it works and Howie is a genius or it doesn't and who cares since we swapped late round picks

They may cut Adoree, but would be weird given he was clearly Fangio's choice over Ringo when both were available. I wonder if he might trade Ringo to try to recoup some picks. Or maybe include him in a deal for an Edge.

Curious what happens since he might still be in the concussion protocol. Although there’s a lot of time still to clear it, if he hasn’t already.

I’d try to trade Ringo, if he’s worth a 2027 7th.

The slot wr for Tenn, Staley, is a gamer. Blocks well too. Like him

I’m fine with Ringo as a STer, being a fast straight line athlete isn’t a hindrance when gunning. Adoree on the otherhand has limited value as a backup.

Neither Adoree nor Jaire are ST guys so I think they’d want only one of those in roster construction.

The only use of these 6s is for trades so I guess Howie felt like this was the best option. I know people will point to a good 6th rd pick but when the draft is on Howie moves all around and can recoup these 6s like pocket change so not at all worried about the pick itself

Could put Adoree on IR to see if Jaire can cut it and if not, get rid of Jaire later. Because if Jaire sucks and Bennett sucks, I don’t think they’d want to get rid of Adoree completely.

I like their LT Lance Heard, but I'd stick him in at RG.

Pendleton at C has potential too
