Go get Christian Wilkins and this D will look totally different in 6 weeks.

Remember when Coop got the starting job and the D took off. Jihad getting his feet wet and in 6 weeks you will see a special special player which will take the d up a notch

Can he play corner or edge rusher?

That was Hurts' 11th game at 75% or higher completion %

The team is 9-2 in those games.

The 2 loses were the Saquon drop Falcons game and the Siri cowardly FG vs Arizona game.

How many of those games did he throw for only 152 yards? 51 of which came on one throw.

I like Hurts and am glad he is our QB. But he is able to keep his completion % high because he has he option to scramble effectively when he doesn't see a wide open receiver. It's not a flaw, just a difference from the typical QB.

Dak's punishment should equal Carter's punishment, missing an entire game.

Carter was a moron about it and literally spit on him right in front of every camera in the stadium and a ref. He could have gotten his shot in on him during the game if he played it smart.

Davis also had a TFL and a pass defense.

I thought Patullo was fine-ish. Team didn't score a TD in the first quarter last season til week 9 and got 3 in the first half and one on their first series. But then again I've always thought people blamed OC too much for their issues, including Brian Johnson. Player execution and personnel was far more the issue in 2023 than OC. And they will live and die with the players this year as well. But if they underachieve this season and the offense does, Patullo likely will be a scapegoat, whether it's actually his fault or not.

Dean could never..

PHLY had a mystery guest talking about Fangio's D and how having a Baun clone in Campbell is just going to take the D to the next level.

After 1 game, I think the mystery guest was right.

Edges were not as bad as you think. When a position group is missing a star, a legit star, what do you expect to be the outcome.

Because who gives a S that he spit in his general direction and smiled afterward?

I do and some others do as well. As I said earlier, he was stupid and selfish and needs to be better. Dak was being a POS and instigated the whole thing though. Both things can be true.

He will be better than Baun soon enough, which is scary

Edges were quite good most of the night.

They have zero depth and Ojulari can't even suit up under those circumstances. They got problems there.

Carter was just yapping like BG use to do and Dakota definitely started it

Why was he even near the DAL huddle? Just unnecessary.

He didn't get targeted because Jalen struggles against 7 men in coverage.

Most QB’s do. Hurts get gun shy against man coverage, but most of the second half Dallas stacked the box with 8 or 9.

Go listen to that whining boomer on PGL complaining that Carter's apology wasn't "sincere enough." He HAS got to be better than that and he is to blame. That being said I just love how most people are ignoring that Dak spit directly at him first.

Frankly, they’re always going to get the person that retaliate so this is a learning lesson for him. He is more important to us than retaliating and the best revenge is destroying Dak on the field. I get he is upset and angry and Dak is a Dbag for spitting at him too. But it will cause more damage to the Cowboys and Dak Prescott having you in that game making his life miserable. Best revenge would’ve been destroying their oline and making Dak cry at the end of the game.

His apology or non-apology isn’t gonna change the situation at this point. I hope he learns from this that he can’t do that because they’re going to be looking for that out of him and it’s almost always the guy whose retaliating that gets hit with punishment. He’s too important to get caught up in dak’s dipshitness

I'm not saying Carter should not have been ejected. I am saying the clear and obvious video evidence of Dak's behavior that led to a player ejection should also lead to scumbag Prescott getting the same punishment.

You can all stop pointing out the obvious that Carter should not have done it. I don't think anyone disagrees with you.

He played a lot better in the second half, the doubles were a bit more than he could handle early. The other DTs spent way too much time on the ground.

Can someone please explain to me how or why Barrett Brooks keeps his job on NBC Sports Philly, especially when they have gotten rid of so many good people over the years.

Meh. What Dak did was so minuscule and mundane that it’s absurd for Carter to react beyond normal S talking.

BINGO

It is good to know that Carter was provoked. Whether you agree with his retaliation or not (no one does). Its better to know that hes not just such a menace that he went and did that on his own. This is forgiveable immaturity. Unprovoked- you worry he is approaching Albert Haynesworth territory.

Spitting at someone is fighting words to most people and Dak absolutely spat at him.
