Dickerson needs ro drop some weight. Dude looks fatter than ever

The extra weight certainly isn’t beneficial for his knees etc..

His constant injuries aren’t helping him in the weight loss process either. Too much "down” time for a guy who seems to enjoy eating.😅

Week 1 against a divisional opponent, Jalen Carter loses his brain and gets ejected, BVS goes down, and the team hasn’t even taken a snap yet.

Obviously Hurts needs to throw the ball more than 10 yards, but from past season openers this was a different Hurts we saw. Previous years we saw him revert to his backyard style and turn his back to the defense, scrambling, and bailing on pockets way early.

I saw a ton of improvement from him on his pocket presence and the way he was able to use the pocket to his advantage. Hurts seems to build through the season, so him starting at a higher ceiling than years past is encouraging.

The additional video that NBC decided to show of Dak spitting at Carter definitely changes my view of the situation.

It does not excuse Carter, but what a punk bish move by Prescott. And even worse to deny and play dumb when asked about it. You can criticize Jalen all you want, but at least he had enough character to take accountability. Dak did not because he’s a C.

This should not have resulted in an ejection. It should have been an unsportsmanlike, with the possibility of ejection for a second. If there was going to be an ejection, it should have been both of them, but of course it wasn’t. It was the same soft as goose turd ref that tossed CJGJ.

Losing Carter for that game changed things drastically, but I was equally concerned that the NFL would suspend him for more future games.

I’m convinced now that we have the full story, that should eliminate any future suspension at least.

You’re crazy. Of course Carter deserved an ejection. At worst, Dak could have been called for taunting or unsportsmanlike conduct. An ejection for Dak there is lunacy.

Personal attack over a differing opinion. Nice. Go F yourself.

It's kinda bizarre that so many fans don't see much of a difference between spitting at the ground and spitting on someone. If that's all it takes to bait Carter into something like this, then guess what every team is gonna be doing in every scrum and pile up for the rest of the season.

Whoa! A personal attack? It’s just an expression. It’s not like I spit on the ground in your direction and smirked.

Surprised to see the reaction to Hurts. Eagles aren’t even in that game without him. Run game was terrible and Hurts improvised the first two TD drives.

To be clear, Carter was still more in the wrong. The added context just made it a whole different situation in my view.

Dak wasn’t spitting at the ground IMO. He was directing it at Carter. Carter is also dumb for falling for it. Both things can be true.

The remnants of Hurts Derangement Syndrome (HDS) continue to infest this board. QB1 was great last night.

But it didn't come close to Carter. Was Dak a gigantic tool for clearly trying to bait Carter? Obviously. But is spitting at the ground in someone's general direction worthy of an ejection? Of course not.

A win is a win right? Jalen Carter is a complete dope; regardless of Dak spitting, you don't do it. If you are that offended, go to the Zebra and point it out. Don't be a dick. Campbell has the makings of being a complete terror in this league; fitness aside

The game was a mess at times, but so many players didn't play in PS, so it was going to be on the cards while they got up to speed and got the nerves. But overall, clear where more needs to be done but its only week 1.

That was their 4th drive and their 4th consecutive drive scoring. Three of which were TDs. It really went to hell after the break. Can't ask for a whole lot more than having your team score on every possession in the first half and their first possession out of the half.

No one is saying we should depend on Hurts playing hero ball every week, but that's what was there. They left him open to take off and couldn't cover Goedert in the middle. They took advantage of it. Obviously we want to get Brown and Smith involved, but take what you're given as well.

It's week 1. The weather was crap. It's a new OC. Dickerson was broken. They have time to get it right.

That's an exaggeration. Outside of the lightning, the weather was absolutely a non-factor. The only issue was the lightning that interrupted the game.

How many times were the Eagles going to run the ball up the middle for no gain on 3rd down in the second half last night? Oh... EVERY time. Zero creativity there with the lead.

Dak was pretty good, but Adoree was the Dallas MVP (Davis SVP).

The officials were the Dallas MVP - every time the Eagles made a play, the refs threw a flag to bail Dallas out and keep the drive moving. Take away the 100+ penalty yards and this game was a laugher. Rog is still salty that the tush push stayed so he's gonna have this directive out against us all year.

And pounding beers during training camp isn't a good look either. I know it's all folksy and funny, but he needs to cut that out and get serious about his body

Has there been a negative reaction? He seems to be in midseason conservative mode, which is OK with me. The issue is if he’s forced to keep on running around, he’s going to get worn down and eventually become ineffective. The running game needs to improve or we need some more plays dialed up downfield to counter the heavy box - both ideally.

The officiating was certainly everywhere last night. The lack of discipline by the Eagles didn't help, but they need to be a lot more consistent in game, let alone over all games.

Anyone pay any attentio to Barkley's gold NFL logo for being NFL OPOY?

I also just noticed that the eagles gave him 4 stars even though he has only been here 2 years. I guess they credit him years of being an NY team captain.

I just want everyone to know, I would never spit in your direction. I would, however, fart in your direction.

We had to deal with a lot of ‘point of emphasis’ nonsense. I don’t think either of the Nolan penalties were particularly egregious, the Reed collision was just that (not any form of targeting) and I’ll give Pickens credit for good play acting on the long DPI. Otherwise, I think both sides got away with a fair amount of holding although frustrating to watch.

I saw Dallas fans complaining that DeJean committed DPI on that fourth down drop by Lamb. It’s still-frame season on Twitter.
