There is nothing wrong with Brown. That hamstring had plenty of time to heal.

Sirianni nor hurts would ever say it is. But listening to both of their pressers they made it sound like his hammy wasn’t the issue. I tend to think the first half they were moving the ball and scoring so they didn’t have to force the issue. The issue became the cowboys adjusted and the offense became stagnant. That’s really when you have to kind do what Dallas did and get the ball to a of the caliber of Lamb (for us brown) to help jumpstart it

Tbh if his hamstring was/is still an issue then i definitely don’t want him out there week 1 given potential weather conditions and needing him for a tough stretch coming up.

I don’t see the point of debating the need to throw the ball more or throw it past the sticks more. They aren’t comfortable doing it. It’s just not happening.

The biggest problem with the offense last night (from another vantage point of what I already said) was the number of Barkley runs that went for 0 to negative yards. It was a LOT. And it was entirely because the interior OL wasn’t getting push.

I think it's just about paying big money to 2 receivers and not really using them (I know we had Barkley that was used more)

We all want to see more throws to the WRs and a less "constipated" offense.

At the same time, they know one thing to be very true:

When this Eagles team doesn't turn the ball over, they win.

The Eagles are going to want to extend him with protections that Carter's agent will not want to give.

What? This idea that he's some problem child is beyond the realm of absurdity at this point. It's not like he's just got caught beating up 5 people at Chickie's and Pete's for the 8th time. He spit on someone. It was wrong, classless. This is the only real thing he's done wrong here in terms of unacceptable character stuff. He was late to a practice... ok not great, but not indicative of character. And he gets chirpy on the sidelines.

This has blown up way bigger than it really is. It was bad in a vacuum for that game, but that's all it is. People are letting the preconceptions from Georgia carry the load here.

He's also only 24 lol

Kind of makes sense it’s a road game in a very tough environment. Feel like neutral site or at the linc the eagles probably be favored.

I'm not a gambler, but that seems like an Eagles line.

I like our chances. Interested to see how they look tonight.

Almost overnight, Siri has figured out how to command a freaking press conference. Jeez. That Super Bowl swagger has him sounding waaaay different.

I watched it, it was fine. It was very late at night after a night game and the weather delay. Plus they kept asking about Carter over and over after he kept repeating his answer. The media gets annoying and these coaches and players must get frustrated sitting up there after a game and having to do that.

But who cares? Coaches are hired to coach and win game, speaking to the media is just something they're forced to do. Not all of them are good with the media. People criticized his initial press conference when he was hired and said how can he be a coach. He's had 4 winning seasons, made the playoffs every year, two Super Bowls and won this last one.

Eagles sign Za'Darius! Finally!

Character and restraint are not the same thing. I’m not judging his character.

But the next time there is a scrum…or a late push…or things get snippy…he’s going to be in on it and he’s going to retaliate.

Ya it kind of is. I have a feeling money is going to come in on KC which will probably move that initial line. The reason i think that is if KC looks great, money will come in on them. If they lose in Brazil then i think a lot of gamblers won’t believe they’ll start 0-2.

Now I won't have to post about this weekly.

"Up to 9 million"

$9M

At least an EDGE with some size

Hopefully, this time an old edge guy won't burn us

I'm guessing he takes BVS' spot on the roster, he'll likely be IR'd.

I thought we should've been 3 pt favorites for the super bowl and laughed all the way to the bank after we crushed them, but this seems to be about right. In KC instead of a neutral field, and our offense and defense have regressed somewhat since then (offense more so than the defense.)

Uche looking as good as he did last night and Zmith sould make for a solid rotation there now.

Has smith got any juice left ?

He had 9 sacks last year

Eagles aren't playing at their super bowl level. Chiefs likely wont be either, in week 2.

He was okay for the Lions when I watched them, did well after Hutch went down, but also benefitted from guys like McNeil drawing attention, and a few coverage sacks where he just kept working until he got home. I don't expect him to be an impact player for long stretches of the season or make us forget the name Josh Sweat.
