I haven't really been watching the game but is the field better than it was last year?

Yes. They actually explained during the game how they improved it after last year's issues.

Kinda looked like he didn't cross the line. He was running right down the line. All he had to do was stretch the ball across.

Nah he had the first down

Tranquill might have hurt his knee

Just now, Sack that QB said:

What Tart did to Kelce is objectively more dangerous to a person than spitting at them is, but you don’t get ejected for that I guess.

That and JuJu after catching a first down started flapping his hands by his head at a charger but no taunting.

So looking like an idiot while taunting not taunting but flexing at a guy taunting....

He got tranquillized.

Probably but he could have easily stretched the ball across the 1st down marker to make it more convincing.

Gut feeling he winds up being cut at the end of the year and winds up back in Philly.

The tirade I would have gone on in front of this woman’s face if that was my kid would get me banned in all ballparks. F her. That’s a loose ball and it belongs to the kid.

Grown ass adults acting like merchant collectors is the weirdest thing to me. Adults just take it home and will lose it somewhere. Kids will have the memory for a lifetime, while still probably losing it somewhere.

I thought this was a dig by eisen at butker

In other news, after seeing the video, the Phils meet with the kid and his dad and load him down with merch and a signed ball. That’s what usually happens. Yes, the ball was closer to,her seat but in his row and he got there first. She will be vilified on social media. Hope the ball was worth it. Takes a different kind of adult to take a ball from a kid. She had no kid with her.

Much.

Actually have a ball that Jeff franceour threw me at the Phillies/dbacks game when the Phillies stunk. I think he was surprised a Phillies fan was at a day game in Az with how bad the team was. Talked to me in between innings and Threw me the ball when he was pulled

Watching/listening to Fran Duffy’s breakdown of last nights game, sounds like Jordan Davis had a really good all-around game. Seemed like a lot of folks in here were down on his performance against the run.

I still remember getting a ball from someone random in the dugout when I was close to the Phillies bench one time when I was like 8. Unless it was some million dollar important ball, I’d hand the next one to anyone close.

I guess the chart says don’t go for 2, and a 2 possession lead…

I thought his run defense was much better after the first two drives. Then again first two drives the run defense in general didn’t look great. i thought after halftime he was much better than he was early in the game

Time to put McKee on the market. Instead of asking for a 2nd round pick, ask for CB1 on the team with interest.

Saints for Kool-Aid

Don’t worry that kid got a signed bat by master bader!

Always took my boys to opening day if they were up on their grades. Pull them out of school and make a day of it. Get to the park early watch all the warm ups and a couple of different times players would just toss them baseballs. They made sure the ball was scuffed before doing so. Basically throwing it into the cinder track dirt.

That was the real objective to always getting to games early for them. My oldest already had a ball but got another one and gave it to some other kid he didn’t even know. The absolute best memories for me as well.

I remember Rhys Hoskins’s being a complete dope to some kid. This like 10-year-old kid was trying to get his autograph before the game while they were doing fielding practice and batting practice. And Hoskins walks over to where the old was, just looks at the kid and then just walks away without giving him the autograph. And I was like wow that’s kind of a dope move.
