The Bad News: Patrick rarely loses back to back games

The Good News: Jalen is 13-1 against the AFC in the regular season since 2022 (Including winning in KC)

F Mahomes. He normally doesn't take belt to ass either in the SB.

I think the braids are cool AF, honestly.

I'm getting so weird as I age.

This is literally watching someone go from having generational wealth to bankrupt in real time.

Tomorrow has got to be one of the worst schedules in college football I've seen in awhile. All the top teams are playing awful teams. Only good game is Michigan vs Oklahoma.

I really hope eventually the big names in college football stop playing teams like Austin Peay, Troy, Eastern Tennessee St, etc. Let's get the best playing the best every week.

I think I’ll watch Iowa v Iowa State, a) it’s at noon b) rivalry game c) bunch of guys I’m interested in draft-wise. Maybe Texas v SJst for some Arch Manning drama.

I don't like the way the season is starting for AJ Brown. If Dak could get the ball to his receivers so often, why can't Jalen? AJB will grow discontent as he did last season, even if he did say otherwise

I'm more worried about the play design than AJB. Not 1 slant was thrown to him. That's a gimme play if there ever was one. I didn't see any effort to force the ball his way, not that you need to. I know there were a few plays where Hurts looked his way and moved to his next option, but not that many times. The Cowboys have decent CB, but are they that good they can nearly eliminate AJB and DeVonta from the game?

Why does this look like a guy in a Cam Newton disguise trying to get on the sidelines.

It’s Little Sisters of the Mercy weeks in college football. First two weeks have traditionally been an opportunity to grab some cash for the smaller colleges and for the bigger schools to tune up for the season with almost sure wins. Usually gets the backups some playing experience. I love it for scouting smaller college players that might take the step into the NFL (or more recently to bigger schools through the transfer portal). Sometimes that is the only opportunity to see these schools. But I DVR the games and watch with the fast forward remote to skip the commercials, halftime and blithering idiots between plays.

Looks like the line for next weeks game @KC has flipped to Eagles -1.5

Chargers fans weren’t happy that the Chiefs had a logo in one of the end zones on their designated home game.

Last year the Eagles were the home team and had both end zones like a home game.

I didn’t even notice until I read the article.

I noticed right away. More favorable treatment.

The slant needs him to pish hard on that hamstring. I think it was intentional injury avoidance

NFL. Let's promote trash talking.

Also NFL. Nolan Smith, How dare you-15 yards.

I don’t know when or where or against what team, but someone will put a lick on him on one of those borderline out of bounds plays near the sideline. He’s been doing that tap dance/trying to draw a flag hesitation by there for a couple of years now. Eventually you’ll get a safety or linebacker that doesn’t have a care who puts him down.

If he gets lit up this week by one of our defenders near the sidelines or even put of bounds slightly, when the fine comes Lurie will take up a collection from the fans to pay it.

Jihaad Campbell seems to be the most likely candidate to just not give a #^$& and just light him up if the opportunity presents itself. And it would be 15yards well worth it. Pat does what he does because even when he gets the flag he doesn't actually take a big hit. When he finally gets tuned up like Pepper Johnson did by Keith Byars he won't be so brazen anymore.

Iowa vs Iowa state is usually a very good game.

I have bookmarked 2 pages as a couch scouting aid for watching college football games this year. They are the Reeses Senior Bowl top 300 list, and the Bruce Feldman Freaks list.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6522767/2025/08/04/college-football-freaks-list-ohio-state-jeremiah-smith/

https://www.seniorbowl.com/top300/

2 guys on Feldman's Freaks List that may be of interest to us.

Kade Piper, OG, Iowa

Domonique Orange DT, Iowa State

There is also a center and a LB, but I think we are good there.

From the Senior Bowl top 300 list there is

Iowa

QB Mark Gronowski

OLs Logan Jones and Gennings Dunker

DL Max Llewellyn

K Drew Stevens

And Iowa State has aforementioned Orange as well as

DB Jeremiah Cooper

Eagles V Chiefs (Hurts/Sirianni Era) 2-2 Record

21: Eagles 30 Chiefs 42 (1st Season, they were growing at the time)

22: Eagles 35 Chiefs 38 (Super Bowl Loss, should have won it too)

23: Eagles 21 Chiefs 17 (Eagles shock Chiefs in KC)

24: Eagles 40 Chiefs 22 (Eagles destroy Chiefs in Super Bowl)

This will be the 5 straight season that the Eagles have played the Chiefs.

I want to see someone pull a Charles Martin vs Jim McMahon on him. Sign a scrub with no chance of a future in the NFL, pay him well, let him body slam Mahomes then release/retire him.🤪

Numbers guys I'm too lazy to look it up, what options are there for Zadarius Smith? Off the top of my head I think 91 and 93 are available. He wore 55 at two of his stops but since Jeffrey Lurie likes to retire or unofficially numbers for everyone that is good I seriously doubt they are handing that out.

Mahomes is kind of a low key POS. I mean, he seems like a good person off the field but on the field he's an entitled POS. I hope next time something like that happens he gets lit the F up.

Good defense and OL play, that’s my kind of boring.

99, if Curly Lambeau can take the L so can Jerome.
