The zero accountability for punk loser Rayne Dakota and his spitting at the Eagles while wearing an NFL Man of the Year patch is disgusting.

NFL's reaction to it:

I want him suspended but know it would not happen.

A fine at least means they are serious about players respecting one another.

FWIW:

Sheil Kapadia says a Dallas Fort Worth reporter mentioned the Dak spit on social media first.

This forced NBC and the NFL to show the footage because it was coming out anyway.

They absolutely attempted to hide it before it leaked.

It's called FAKE NEWS for a reason.

I just watched AJ speak with reporters at his locker after the game. He's really holding back trying to say the right things for the team.

I dont know how Nick holds this team together. He is an incredible coach.

Did AJ look open or blanketed all day?

He had no burst. He had no separation.

Jalen was looking for AJ before running on some of those scrambles.

If AJ had to hold back anything then Nick still has work to do. Rest that hammy for 9 days then go out and dominate.

After watching the QB school recap, there wasn’t much for Hurts. Alot of guys settling down within covered zones, not big windows, or openings after the DL was getting pressure. Eberflus was ignoring Jalen’s running ability schematically (no spy), so within the conservative framework the scrambles made sense versus making contested throws. AJ does look limited, and how Saquon is being used in the passing game doesn’t seem particularly creative (perhaps that’s Ship’s role).

Didn’t AJ not beat his coverage a single time? Maybe he should work on that.

Really need to have people post in the Around the NFL section about the other games

Why? Is that forum dying?

You could whittle that list down to 15, 20, 60, and 92.

And 9

Getting us that first one is well worth it imo

Looks like the line for next weeks game @KC has flipped to Eagles -1.5

Worthy injury is part of that. They didn’t have much with him and now really pedestrian. It’s also not great that their oline last night once again looked problematic. I’d add i think they are going to miss Justin Reid on that defense from leadership and play perspective.

I thought money would come in on them but after watching that game it was mahomes running as the only sustainable offense and their defense just didn’t have answers

F Mahomes. He normally doesn't take belt to ass either in the SB.

Tbh 40% of his Super Bowl appearances he’s got his ass kicked

How was he not ejected for this? The NFL keeps adding new rules, calls players for taunting and celebrating, ejects Carter for spitting, but not for this? They're too inconsistent.

I'm calling it now. Tyreek Hill to the Chargers

The rookie, Hampton ran hard and thought was explosive

This is funny i literally texted my friend this last night. Was like when the dolphins are bad or tua unfortunately is out for like 4 weeks they’ll sell tyreek hill. Chargers make sense as he’s really a fit for what they need at WR in terms of vertical stretch threat and speed with mcconkey and Allen.

I have a friend who bought an annuity for $75,000 from Fidelity Investments in 1995 and it is worth over $1 million today. I believe the Eagles should include an annuity as part of the signing bonus. That would handle the player’s financial needs from age 50 onward. The challenge would be to get them to age 50 without going broke.

It should legitimately be a part of the CBA that X% is to be thrown into something. I’m sure that the NFLPA and/or some of the better organizations have infrastructure…but it should almost be forced. Hell when i was young and dumb, coming back from deployments we had ‘generational wealth’ after not having to spend anything for 8+ months. We just partied and bought cars, immaturity is a given at that age.

Now the common ‘peasants’ like us in today’s day and age, it’s a little harder to follow the golden 4% per paycheck rule with the current housing market and other things. These kids should be given no excuse.

Watching Fran Duffy break down film with a huge smile on my face.

I'm not saying HoF LBs, I'm talking 2 incredible athletes who can "run the shoot" in the middle of the field like a LB/S hybrid.

This D is going to be awesome.

Football is back baby, I'm only 23 pages behind!

100% think Dak saw a chance to get Carter to do something dumb. Think that cause of Dak smirking and laughing during it. I don’t know if he was trying to get him kicked out of the game but more get a 15 yard flag to get them moving and knew Carter would bite. the officials threw him out which was a better outcome for Dak than he thought he’d get.

All i know is Dak should be fine in this just like Carter is going to receive one. I don’t buy Dak’s bs

Agreed. Had a terrible showing and still only gave up 20 points without JC and referrees granting early EZ points to Turds. Only going up from here. Waiting for a solid vet CB2 (Gilmore/Samuel) to fortify the troops, but Bennett may suffice for now. Toast Jackson, YOU'RE FIRED!

All those reasons are why an annuity makes sense. It would be guaranteed to be there rather than squandered away. The US government created Social Security for exactly that reason. People couldn’t be relied on to voluntarily put away money for their retirement, so an enforced savings plan was created.

Not at all…28 Oct 1929 was the reason for that.

Also don't underestimate that after about 10 plays, the Eagles were down 3 players.

I don't think BVS was going to see 10+ snaps but Shipley was going to be used a bunch and Carter would have played 95% of the snaps.

They have not played a real NFL game for 7 months and every team has to work on game conditioning as well as kicking off the rust in this new NFL slopfest real preseason September.

I finally finished the day-after pod and Duffy was quite a bit more optimistic about Adoree Jackson’s performance. He wasn’t gushing by any means, but he thought the C grade Adoree gave himself was accurate.

My new saying is going to be ‘I think all 22 is gonna prove us both wrong’…but every snap i focused on him his left foot was on his right and right on his left. He absolutely looked like he had never gotten coached beyond a pee wee level before. The absolute basics of the position weren’t used, forget his ability to read leverage and hips.

17 of those 20 points were almost entirely due to three 15 yard penalties.

When Dallas did not get a 15 yard penalty, they scored 3 points all night... with no Jalen Carter and a very bad Adoree on the field for 42 defensive snaps.

Not focusing on his coverage for a moment, his angles to ball carrier on runs and his basic attempts to help in run defense were not good.
