Ok. Trying to catch up while a couple mai tais in, but…Dallas remains the worst run franchise in the NFL by a mile. I know fans will cope and say Micah wasn’t worth 47mm AAV and the team needs to rebuild, but that ignores 2 major points.

First, Micah wouldn’t have cost Dallas 47mm. Obviously, had they just signed him after the 2023 season like a competent franchise, the number would be in the mid 30s. Even earlier this offseason low 40s. And I bet he wouldn’t have taken a million more than Garrett/Watt now.

More importantly, there is ZERO justification for doing this after handing Prescott that contract last year. There’s no rebuild here for 3 years. 231mm of that 240mm is guaranteed. You simply can’t give that contract to an aging, oft-injured mediocre QB and then decide to rebuild. Rebuilding competently would be trading Dak last offseason and then making decisions on Lamb and Parsons. Once they signed Dak, they had to be all in.

Jerry has no plan whatsoever and I love it.

There’s a non-zero chance the Dallas players basically lay down and quit on Jerry. They were on Micah’s side.

Just amazing. I hope Jerry lives forever. Overpay a mediocre QB and a slot receiver but trade this guy.

I genuinely don't know where the Micah can't play the run comes from. He's also a plus run defender because it's hard for OTs to lock into him.

If you take away the scoreboard, it was really about five plays that decided that stat.

I see a lot of Sunday golf in my future this football season. Football Saturdays and golf Sundays. Can’t wait to see more road fans at AT&T than DAL home fans because that will happen also.

I think the Eagles first PS was just guys who were here and available to practice Wednesday and Thursday and now they are swapping guys out for players they like more

Jerry "The Gambler" is obsessed with the media and getting attention. Trading your best Defensive Player a week before the season is chaotic. We were winning the game against them with or without Micah but I want a blowout now. Heavy run game for sure, they still don't have a good run Defense. Let's pick up were we left off in the Super Bowl, another 40 Burger.

Not playing against us as a Cowboy, but later this season as a Cheesehead. Unreal - it doesn’t seem like a Herschel Walker type of trade though, so Jerry must of really been upset with his attitude etc.

Since a significant part of Arizona lies in the desert, the uniforms call upon the sand as a signature design element.

He's only 26 too. He's got plenty of time to continue to get better

I still find it shocking that they didn't get a better offer somewhere else

The more it sits with me, the more I just don't get what Dallas was thinking. Thank god we have Howie who consistently tries to lock up our core talent early. Does it ALWAYS happen? No but I will take maybe wrong decisions locked up to lesser deals than right players either leaving or needing to be signed at a higher cost.

Dallas's defense was bad against the run last season. The Eagles have also done a good job neutralizing him in the run game.

I actually think that Jerry wanted to make a statement after all the stuff leaked out into the open. Money wouldn’t have been the issue at first, but after Parsons got his agent involved, Jerry felt very disrespected. He needed to show Parsons who is boss IMO.
