You should research the contract. It is much worse for Dallas. It has the Todd Gurley sucker punch domino effect of rolling yearly guarantees.

His 2026 contract became fully guaranteed in 2025 and it will be the same for 2027 and 2028 the year before.

The guy he was negotiating against is a moron.

Dallas has to keep him or eat a massive 100m level cap hit to cut him.

It only took me two days but I finally caught up. It wasn’t their best performance but I’m happy to get the win. They’ll figure things out as they go.

I thought the delay hurt the Eagles more than the Cowboys. They had the momentum. The crowd was juiced. And then nothing for an hour. By that time about 30% of the crowd had left and the energy was sapped out of the building (maybe not entirely but it was noticeable.)

Howie will find a cornerback at some point if the position continues to be a problem. Kinda like the Phillies and their closer situation. It was always obvious that they’d trade for one eventually. If the corner situation remains bad, he’ll get it right. I’m not that worried.

Delays like that are so unnatural. The Ravens were going to beat the 49ers by 30+ and then the lights went out.

They had to stop the 49ers at the goal line to win the game.

Its a testament to Vic and those defenders that they shut out the Cowboys after that... without Carter.

Brady ran a 5.15 40 at the combine and probably a 5.00 at best at this point in his career.

Without that play, the Patriots probably lose. The Falcons back 7 ignored Brady and gave him the lane to run. He took it.

If Williams still has the 5th year option year then its really 4 years at 24.5 or so.

This is the first I can remember the NFL putting up full games cut of the commercials and fluff for free on YouTube. Hopefully this continues all year and they don't take any of these down over time.

As much as Dickerson went down and left the game early and we don't know if it is the back or the knee or something else. Malaita also stayed down even longer than Dickerson in the 3rd. And was laboring his back. We heard the beats mention, especially during the Cleveland joint practices, how Mailata was clearly dealing with something and was struggling physically after each play.

The oline health is a major concern with how banged our left side is already this early into what we hope is a very long journey. Then you factor in our center had back surgery, our RT is playing on some creation of science keeping Lane Johnson's nonexistent ankle in tact for the time being and a total who knows at RG in Steen.

I don't know what you could realistically get with an in season oline trade. I'm not even sure a high profile one has ever been done. I think CB2 at least they can figure something out between Bennett/McWilliams/Ricks/DeJean to make it more manageable than Adoree Jackson or Ringo.

I just wonder what we need to see from this team play and health wise by the deadline to either full on commit to repeating or deciding to just roll with it and not sacrificing the future over going heavy with resources and trying to cash in again this year.

The calculations in that table are wrong in my opinion. They treat the ties as if they never were played. They should, again in my opinion, count a tie as 0.5 wins and 0.5 losses. That makes:

Allen .705 rather than .712

Lombardi .728 rather than .738

I hate to even suggest this, but yeah it was my first thought when I saw Schefter tweet that this morning.

There have been multiple reports to the contrary up until KC lost, now a suspension is suddenly still on the table.

Yep. Like the Bell report I posted just after.

My God, sometimes the NFL is so ridiculous, Carter already served a one game suspension. He apologized and he has to live with the embarrassment of his actions, fine him and move on.

The league should be more worried about Mahomes' little stunt of turning into the DB instead of heading straight out of bounds from the other night. I think that can be pretty problematic down the road.
