You have to bring in Peppers for a workout, right?

Looks like he played well last year. Dude sucks rushing the passer though :)

I dont think the eagles do. I doubt he signs as a backup safety. I dont think his upside is better than the eagles perceived upside of Mukuba. And Peppers is a tweener but our LBs are more than fine too.

Now, if he is willing to take Sydney Brown's backup job... absolutely. But I doubt it.

Depth safety/returner option if he can still play.

DeJean as PR?

Peppers is a box safety.

Still can't believe he is a Packer.

Interesting that Campbell/Trotter and Jackson/Bennett are all listed as starters.

You're PR is Cooper DeJean, but I'm assuming Covey is called up.

DeJean isn't gonna return punts.

I think CB2 listed as Adoree/Bennett could be one of two things.

1) More competitive advantage BS to hurt the Cowboys prep for the game.

2) If Adoree had the spot locked down they'd have just declared him the starter and this indicates they want Bennett to have the job.

Andrew Mukuba/Sydney Brown being safety 2 same for the above. Either more competitive advantage BS or them truly wanting it to be Mukuba and not declaring it because of his hammy.

Maybe they won't know for sure about the three spots until after a week of practice.

Should choose 0 as a tribute to how many super bowls and nfc title games Jerry jones has been to in the last 29 years

I have never understood why companies pay huge sums for MBAs with 2-3 years of experience to put together some BS then have a senior partner give a powerpoint presentation.

I've worked with MBAs from top schools, they're bright, facile but poorly educated (Sloan school gives their course reading lists on-line if you want a feel), mile wide but an inch deep, and they tend to spout cliches at the drop of a hat.

I've read a number of McKinsey reports, competent, slick but nothing special.

I've got the "consensus" best business books of the last 40 years on my phone (something to do while you wait), up to the "Gs" now.

There are a few very good books, but most are HBR essays bloated into 200 pages with lots of padding.

Some steak, but an awful lot of "sizzle."

I agree business books are mostly after the low-hanging fruit. They don't do a deep dive into the subject and lack substantive bandwith which makes it hard for me to have buy in. I often put those books on the backburner and feel little need to circle back to them.

You should put a pin in that for now.

Back to the Eagles...

Another reason for optimism is the continuity of the defensive coaching staff. Look at the job they did last season. BIlly King turning Baun into an all-pro and getting the best season from Dean at LB. Hurtt elevating Carter and the improvement of Williams and Ojomo. Parker having Mitchell and DeJean playing like all-pros as rookies. Washburn making Smith to look like a first-round pick and the development of Hunt.

I am confident that Campbell, Makuba, the backup DEs, and whomever plays CB2 will be well prepared to perform at their best.

Amen! Sing it Brother!

Or he could go with 1 as a tribute to the number of playoff wins he personally has

Only need two if Lampkin goes on IR.

I would switch Ricks for Nickerson. The Ricks ship has sailed.
