Cool-Want to trade CJ? Cool-Want to let Rodgers go? OK, but the backup plan shouldn't be counting on a guy who was benched by the Giants last year. Perhaps it's not standard procedure to speak with Vic before signing the CB, but maybe they should consider doing so.-And how the heck did they misjudge Ringo so poorly when they watched him every day in practice for two years?Every team has holes but they created this one.It was a calculated risk. People invest in the stock market every day by taking calculated risks. Michael Jordan followed a calculated risk approach of "Never up, never in.” As does Steph Curry. With calculated risks the potential up side is always perceived to be greater than the potential down side.In this case, the fact that both Adoree and Ringo haven’t worked out means that Howie has work to do in order to mitigate any damage. It is an 18 week season, so plenty of time to be identifying possible solutions. Plus Vic and the DB coaches are working on solutions as well. It is a dynamic situation.

Is there a reason that they decided to parade that close to where the fans are so that they were actually within arm's reach? That's not to put the blame on them for initiating the contract. But, to a certain extent, they need to be smarter. When you put yourself in a bad situation, bad things are more likely to happen than if you stick to the field area.

I'm not sure how anyone could look at Rodgers after what he did helping them win a SB and think a guy who was benched by the Giants would have a higher up side. Mac could end up being a guy later in the season. We'll see, but he created this hole by getting too cute. That's what bothers me more than he signed a guy like Huff last year and was wrong.

They saw it and tried for Parsons. However, the secondary issues were self-imposed and a better plan then Ringo's turn was needed.I'm fairly certain they thought Kelee Ringo was going to make a huge leap, take CB2 and not look back. Adoree Jackson was signed as a veteran backup, not as a starter. It was a misjudgment of talent if anything else. I'd imagine they would have made stronger moves had they known Ringo was this bad.
Monday at 03:51 PM3 days I think the most fair thing is to just call it like it is with whatever position, player, coach, play, game, etc. you're talking about. Fresh off the Super Bowl (the 2nd in 7 years after a long drought) provides some leeway and trust, but it also doesn't prevent any criticism. Both can be true: Howie built two SB teams, and also was wrong about some decisions. Howie himself will admit his mistakes and learning from them. The Eagles still have the best overall roster in the NFL loaded with star players. On defense there are a lot of changes. Last year they took several games because of all the changes and new coaches. Now they are replacing a lot of guys who left on defense and expecting 2nd year players, new free agents and rookies to fill in the gaps. Without preseason snaps, that always takes time. And yet, despite Carter being out the defense played well in the 2nd half. Now they have film and can learn from it and improve. The regular season always has ups and downs for every team. Injuries, luck, surprise outcomes. The Eagles have the roster, experience and coaching to handle it. There are concerns about CB2, Safety, O line depth...but they also are stacked at most positions. Can you believe we are so strong at Linebacker now? Having a top LB prospect drafted in the 1st round who already impressed in his first game? Incredible.I still maintain they will go to the Super Bowl, that the overall roster and coaching will compensate for the weaker positions. It will also position them for what they need to do with all those picks next draft. Corner, O line, Edge, keep retooling and adding talent.

Monday at 03:51 PM3 days Hilton is like a coach on the field. Exactly what a young team needs. Has a lot of good tackles in the opposing backfield in last year's highlights. This guy's got some swag and is an agressive blitzer as well. I like him as strict slot CB. Think Fangio has a perfect role for him. Bengals fans liked him as well. You move Cooper to CB2. Now we have a solid tackling secondary, which majorly improves from last week.

That's what bothers me more than he signed a guy like Huff last year and was wrong.Coca Cola had inside information when it decided to come out with New Coke. How did that work out for them? All decisions have a certain amount of both judgment and risk. Sometimes they don’t work out. Trey Turner has inside information about what pitches pitchers are going to throw, but he only gets a hit three times out of ten. Out of 10 decisions, how many does Howie get right? My issue with Rodgers (and why I had no problem letting him go in Free Agency), is his deficiency in ball location skills. It is one thing to be able to be in the right defensive position to defend the receiver, but if you don’t have the ball location skills to be able to turn and track the pass trajectory, the receiver hill be more often than not able to out compete the CB for the ball, and make the catch. That is the case with Rodgers big time, and also the case with Ricks to a lesser extent. Couple that with Ricks’ lack of foot speed and in his case you get a player who comes up a day late and a dollar short.

Here’s a review of a highly rated Indian restaurant in CharlotteBotiwalla is a top option in Optimist Hall, Charlotte’s popular food hall. It comes from the team behind Asheville’s Chai Pani and the original Botiwalla in Atlanta’s Ponce City Market, and it specializes in Indian street foods, like vada pav, skewered meats, and six kinds of naan. It all makes for an amazing quick lunch or dinner that you can and should cap-off with the only dessert on the menu: a delicious plate of gulab jamun. The counter-service restaurant’s colorful space is a ton of fun, filled with Bollywood posters, picnic tables, and floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s also a provisions corner, where you can stock up on snacks, sauces, and spices.

This is a place where stuff like soy, tofu, and mushrooms mimic the textures, richness, and meatiness of meat and cheese. In other words, you won’t have to sell dishes like the grilled blackened jackfruit steak or king trumpet scallops too hard to someone who only eats chicken tenders. We like Sanctuary best for a weeknight dinner, where we can post up in the dining room at the bar. And since it’s located in a shopping center, there’s always a parking spot.
