Dart will get killed behind that line, it'd be setting the kid up to fail like Jones, they were godawful Sunday, like they haven't moved forward offensively at all, and defensively they gave up 220 on the ground to the Commanders, who had a seventh round rookie running at 8 yards a carry.

I am starting to think that Daboll isn't a good coach. Maybe Joe Schoen doesn't know how to put together a roster either.

  • It’s really cool that the Eagles have become an antichoke team. A lot of that is that Hurts has the sideline disposition of a corpse whether it is September or the SB.

In other news, Philadelphia fans are worse because they booed Santa. Bills fans are just exuberant.

Why would Howie want Jerry to get more back?

Drive up the price so then he turns down offers or other teams walk away and he's stuck? I don't know just stupid thoughts distracting from work on a Monday.

One more thing about Troy and the Carter situation is that he should know how hyped up players are before the Cowboys game. Throw in Dak instigating it and this should go away with just a fine. He has sold out to try amd become the next comish

Speaking of, this is an honest question, not trying to spark a stupid debate. Josh Allen had 251 passing yards int he 4th quarter, and sometimes your franchise QB has to put on his cape and do this to win a game.

If this was the Eagles, do you think Jalen Hurts could pull off the same comeback?

The other thing I'd point out with this is if my QB is throwing 251 in the 4th quarter when we're in a deep hole, I'd be asking why he didn't just throw a few more in the first three quarters to stop us getting in the hole in the first place.

Expecting credit for throwing 251yards and 22 points in a single quarter to comeback and win when you're 15 points behind is like some football Munchausen's by proxy horseshit. Just play better the other 3 quarters.

He did get an offside penalty

I do wonder what it is Daboll has shown their front office that's earned him twice as long as McAdoo, Shurmur and Judge, they have been a raging dumpster fire the last 2 years. Jones goes to Indy and looks like a competent QB, at what point is it Daboll fault.

All that said I hope Mara gives Schoen and Daboll 10 year contracts to give them job security as they take on the rebuild.

He got a playoff win. That's like 2 Super Bowls to them.

If they suspend Carter for 1-2 games, he will definitely appeal. I read somewhere the appeal would be decided by Wednesday if they rule today, but not sure if that us accurate.

No player has ever been suspended for spitting on an opponent. If they try it now, it is a clear sign this is retribution for the Brotherly Shove.

That fast? I guess because it's during the season vs when Rice appealed and they moved it 4-6 weeks out?

In a word … Yes.

Rice didn't appeal. That was a whole different can of worms.

I think it is also different for on field vs. off field incidents.

I could have sworn he did and they set it for the middle of this month because people were talking about how he'd play against us. Then he chose to just serve it. Probably getting it mixed up.

Also different after the Chiefs lost and they don't want them starting 0-2.

I do worry about any future games if Carter isn't playing but I just don't think he's getting suspended. My guess is they'd say he was punished for missing the game and was just retaliating in an inappropriate manner against Dak

His whole deal was the league wanted to punish him under a policy created to address domestic violence issues. What he did was more of a grey area that didn't really fall under the personal conduct policy which is what caused the issue. The NFL wanted to suspend him 10+ games while the NFLPA argued his charges didn't fall under the policy so they couldn't enforce that harsh of a punishment and no one was budging. That's why they scheduled an arbitration hearing that was in season so the arbitrator could decide the punishment.

So technically he never appealed because he was never suspended. Then he accepted the 6 games, which he could have appealed, but didn't.

Figure it would be Johnson or Epps.

League was also pressured to punish him from basically everyone after watching that video

Patrick Johnson going to the 53 to take BVS' special teams role. Makes complete sense. This also means Azeez and Ogbo aren't being activated anytime soon. No dead cap to cut Ogbo, but not a ton of savings either.

Tbh i thought the ravens would try to draw the bills offsides to see if they could get the first. Then use a timeout to go for it. I didn’t see Lamar say he had a cramp and that’s why he didn’t push going for it. Still would’ve went for it. Don’t trust a defense that had played 70+ snaps and given up 38 points

Also Hamilton just missed blocking that kick

I've said it before I can't believe after Henry Ruggs the league didn't say to the NFLPA that auto accidents caused by speeding or DUI that result in injury to members of the public are punished on a sliding scale starting at a minimum of full season suspension and running up to contract torn up no compensation and hit the bricks, no other teams can sign you.

If he was an ordinary Joe he'd have been out of a job the second he was charged.
