  • They just announced the flight crew is from Dallas… So I yelled "GO BIRDS” Waiting for the Air Marshall to take me out

  • It’s really cool that the Eagles have become an antichoke team. A lot of that is that Hurts has the sideline disposition of a corpse whether it is September or the SB.

The Rice thing was both sides finding common ground. The suspension then appeal then both sides accept protocol is for reasonable punishment with precedent. If they try to suspend Carter after he already missed a game for spitting back at Man of the Year who spit at him? No way the NFLPA or Rosenhaus are accepting that.

Its the slippery slope to arbitrary punishment. No way they just give that to Goodell.

Be adults and fine both him and Dak (less money) then suspend Lamar for 1 game. Now everyone knows they have to behave.

I read last night people were saying Jackson was defending himself against the fan. By walking close to them starting crap?

Dart will get killed behind that line, it'd be setting the kid up to fail like Jones, they were godawful Sunday, like they haven't moved forward offensively at all, and defensively they gave up 220 on the ground to the Commanders, who had a seventh round rookie running at 8 yards a carry.

Jameis is there. Russ is cooked. He has zero mobility and his arm strength looked gone

Patrick Johnson going to the 53 to take BVS' special teams role. Makes complete sense. This also means Azeez and Ogbo aren't being activated anytime soon. No dead cap to cut Ogbo, but not a ton of savings either.

Activated? weren't Ojulari and Ogbo just minor injuries Thursday? They both made the 53, what are they being activated from?

Training at 11 pm on a Saturday night early on in a 10 day layoff?

I hope they put the same energy into chastising these players who have kids, eating up their 24/7 football time

Hopefully, he is this year's Baun

I assume that is the same Josh Uche who recorded 1 tackle on 19 snaps?

He led the team in Mamulas.

When you have inside information like with Ringo you should get it right. I'm not sure how anyone could look at Rodgers after what he did helping them win a SB and think a guy who was benched by the Giants would have a higher up side. Mac could end up being a guy later in the season. We'll see, but he created this hole by getting too cute. That's what bothers me more than he signed a guy like Huff last year and was wrong.

In order to have room for a player to "step in” there needs to be a space to step into.

Further, retaining Slay wasn’t risk free. Slay 2025 could easily be a repeat of Bradberry 20234.

Expecting Rodgers to be the CB2 was a worse move than giving Ringo the chance to step in.

Milton Williams got 24m a year on Mamulas (win rate and pressures)

Drive up the price so then he turns down offers or other teams walk away and he's stuck? I don't know just stupid thoughts distracting from work on a Monday.

They were both healthy scratches. Activated meaning active on game days. Adding Smith and moving both back further in the line makes playing time harder for them.

Also Hamilton just missed blocking that kick

And... the double doink ALMOST went over the crossbar. But, it didn't. Oh well. Close doesn't count.

Baun actually showed up in the stat sheet in Week 1.

And the small matter of getting 2 sacks in the Super Bowl

My guess/prediction is that Azeez is the next cut.

Active on game days. Didn't read either of them were hurt.

Yup. That close. And just as with Hamilton's almost blocked FG... it didn't mean a thing. Big gain, setting up first and goal.

The big thing is that the almosts like this have to turn into somethings or they are a big nothings.

Ah right, I didn't realise they were healthy scratches, I'll be honest I didn't follow the injury reports this week, the season has sort of crept up on me, I've had a few health issues over Summer.

Does sort of beg the question how they made the 53 ahead of Robinson and then end up behind him on the depth chart before the second game, given we were down to 4 specialist edge rushers on Thursday it seems sub optimal roster management to be in this position.

Costs us cap space to cut Azeez as his $3mm is fully gteed, but he only counts $1.68mm on the cap right now. Ogbo's salary is fully gteed as a vested veteran, but I don't think he has void years, so cutting him is cap neutral.
