Carter should get an endorsement deal with some company like 23 and me that deals with spit/saliva to make up the money.

That's actually a pretty good idea to turn the negative into a positive lol

Edit: though they've become greedy as hell and you need to buy all these different addons when before it was all free

I thought 23 and me was defunct, they ran out people who needed to confirm what they already knew.

Something I don't really understand about the officiating, review, fine/suspension process is why the inconsistencies aren't dealt with. The last several years the refs across the league have been terrible. The Tart slap against Travis Kelce is a great example. He also did it in plain view of the refs and wasn't ejected. Do teams submit these things to the league to complain and request a review? Does the league pay attention to the announcers pointing things out in broadcasts and media talking about it after and realize something was missed and correct it? I know sometimes there are fines given out for things later that weren't even called in the game. But other things aren't. It seems they call ticky tack stuff like Nolan Smith flexing, and not guys literally hitting each other in the head.

@Iggles_Phan 3-18-1 for Goff but still terrible.

0-7 as a rookie

3-10-1 as a first year Lion

0-1 yesterday

He could be 0-18-1 if Ben Johnson was only the OC in 2021 for home games in December and January? Weeks 13, 15, and 18

Maybe Anthony Lynn had his Detroit privileges revoked?

Dan Campbell is 8-21-1 as a head coach without Ben Johnson at OC.

Similarly, if I were the Eagles marketing team I'd be compiling clips of every team who voted against the tush push who then ran it and make a highlight reel. Show it next time there's a vote.

Nope. You just get the very basics of info and if you want more then you need to pay. Come to think of it they pretty much took the gaming micro transactions playcard

New sponsorship where Eagles fans everywhere get the premium service lol

Another thing they could do is show it on the big screen anytime Eagles or even another team try it. Display all of the teams logos that voted to have it banned

Seems aggressive but 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, Goedert was taking some licks too as the defense started creeping down. The Dotson play was a nice counter, but that’s the only deep attempt that I remember - and nothing at all in the intermediate area. I read Jalen was pressured like 40% of the time, which seems high but Mailata was not having a good game… so perhaps some splash plays were dialed up, but the receiver was left hanging.

Only one attempt was deeper than 10 air yards. The throw to Dotson.

That's REALLY tight to the LOS.

The Lions interior OL is a big question mark: two new guards and a new center. They were getting manhandled by Green Bay yesterday. Romo commented on it several times during the broadcast. They have a new OC and DC, but I think the OL could be a greater issue for them.

Hilton is like a coach on the field. Exactly what a young team needs. Has a lot of good tackles in the opposing backfield in last year's highlights. This guy's got some swag and is an agressive blitzer as well. I like him as strict slot CB. Think Fangio has a perfect role for him. Bengals fans liked him as well. You move Cooper to CB2. Now we have a solid tackling secondary, which majorly improves from last week.

Moving the Swiss Army knife…most versatile and probably impactful player (outside of maybe Carter) to CB2 is not the answer.

It'll be harder to ban the tush push the longer it's around, because we'll keep gathering data showing it's no more of an injury risk than any other play

What I saw of Cam Ward at weekend wasn't great, he looked scared to death at times, like he was trying to do everything at a million miles an hour, dropping back too far for his protection, his early season looks rough.

Cam gets a pass…that was one of the worst OL performances I’ve ever seen.

Was just about to post this, with Ragnow retiring they compounded it by sliding their starting left guard to center and putting a 6th round guy who played like one game last year in as new left guard and drafted Ratledge for Right guard and they just got blown away, which is no surprise when they've never played a snap together. Detroit could be in trouble while they get used togame football even if they are ultimately good enough to do it at pro level.

Not that important, but thinking Buffalo and Green Bay become #'s 1 & 2 on this week's power rankings.

So...after consuming the various pods and film reviews, I see two areas of concern. CB2 and the Dickerson/Brown injuries.

The consensus was that Steen looked solid, Davis looked real good, Campbell was impressive for a rookie, and Makuba's showing was encouraging.

I'm not ready to put Patullo on watch just yet. He was game planning a bit in the dark for a DC on a new team.
