  • They just announced the flight crew is from Dallas… So I yelled "GO BIRDS” Waiting for the Air Marshall to take me out

  • It’s really cool that the Eagles have become an antichoke team. A lot of that is that Hurts has the sideline disposition of a corpse whether it is September or the SB.

Strike zone is above knees and below neck. Or you can do what Carter does and just grab and lift the QB off the ground until you hear a whistle.

Hands were up to block the pass. He certainly could have just committed and went for the sack sure.

Tyreek Hill's wife protected him from suspension and jail when he abused his child.

Its crazy that he would abuse her too. Who could have ever expected that?

Hire a good divorce lawyer and talk to the NFL.

So here is where the kickoff absolutely must go out of the end zone to help stop the clock on the next offensive play

Aikman is my favorite announcer. He has turned into the grumpy old man and isn't afraid to be negative

Gotta offset his head position if he's trying to knock the ball down so that his helmet avoids the QB's at all costs. Ain't easy playing defense these days.

This. If its in the end zone they will run it out and you lose the 2 minute warning clock stopage.

Also if they do start the drive at 2:02 the Vikings should go deep.

Bears can't even get a kick off right

You can’t kick that ball deep …..

One of those plays where if it’s Hurts i love the call, but as a blitzer the second the QB starts throwing they should be trying to bat the ball. Really tough position to be in.

They should have kicked that out of bounds. Field position is irrelevant, they need a 3 and out anyway to win. What were they thinking?

Did Calebs stupid rub off on Johnson?

Could’ve also just kicked it out of bounds on the sideline and gotten penalized. The difference is starting at the 40 after the penalty and starting at 35 if kicked through the end zone

Honestly, Caleb Williams kinda sucks. He has no touch on any of his passes. He just fires it on every pass, he looks like he's always in backyard football mode. He throws so many bad balls.

He has a lot of ability but he is not a good QB yet for sure.

They'll get about 14 seconds to get into FG range.

They keep showing McCown on the sidelines and it's making me jealous

Great trick play

Bears have a serious Caleb problem.

That’s why you can’t pee away those timeouts. Burned that one with MIN having 3rd and 1, then giving up a TD on the next play anyway. Burned one on a challenge in the first half that had no hope of being overturned. Only one timeout left he needed to try the onside kick and hope the Vikings fumble it.

Pretty unimpressive head coaching debut in all facets.

Williams reminds me of Joe "747” Adams, who played in the CFL 40 years ago. He had a rocket for an arm but couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn — much less an open WR. They both just zing the ball around with no touch at all.

Adams was inducted last year into the Black College Hall of Fame, and NFL Radio did an interview feature with him. He is a really well-spoken guy and very interesting interview.

An interesting part about moving DeJean to outside corner will be the deal he gets for his second contract with outside corners making significantly more than slots. I don’t think this comes into play with Roseman because if he’s worth top tier money, he’ll do it. But not sure what their cap situation will be down the line after Carter gets his mega deal and having to take care of Quinyon too.

Can someone get Lainey Wilson a remedial geography lesson? Singing about Texas in her Somewhere over Laredo song. First off, a redeye from Houston to southern CA. Don’t believe any such thing exists because it is beyond insipid. Basically a 3 1/2 hour flight from Central time zone to Pacific time zone (gain two hours). So leave at midnight to arrive at one thirty am. Nuts. But of course instead of flying straight on I10, she flies down to Laredo and I guess over Chihuahua (bet Mexico loves that) to get to southern CA. I mean, I get that Laredo and Rainbow kind of sound wise mimic each other, but the geography is beyond awful. Get that Cajun some education. (She is a cowriter on the song so shares her stupidity with three others). Even allowing for the land acquired in the Guadalupe-Hildalgo treaty, nothing in NM, AZ, NV is south of Laredo which is significantly south of Houston. And Southern CA is north of Houston.

This state of knowledge (education) is concerning.

Thanks for the rant.
