I’m just hoping our OL is healthy going into week 2. Dickerson and Mailata both looked gimpy at times.

Bc dillon ran right into them. Dude might be half blind

I wonder if Howie has been trying to pull off a Bigsby trade, and the Shipley injury pushed him over the edge. Kinda rare to see him give up 2 picks with none coming back. They must really like his potential behind Hurts and the OL.

That's the one thing that seemed a bit off about this trade. 99.9% of the time Howie is getting a pick back. As you said, very rare for him to just give up picks. Surprised we didn't see a 2026 6th at the least attached on the return.

According to the daily camp reports, Mailata didn't look healthy for the majority of camp. I hope both are OK. I'm all for sitting Dickerson for a few weeks if it gets him as close to 100% as possible. Having him hobble around hurts the team and worsens his injuries.

Ben Johnson’s regretting taking this job. His body language is beyond terrible lol.

He is trying to channel his inner Caleb.

Spending two picks to get a bit better at RB2/3 is nonsense.

No. It's not. Those picks are going to be late in the 5th and 6th rounds, equivalent to a mid-5th-rounder. And if the 5th rounder converts to a 4th, it means Tank has had a big year, for which an end of 4th round pick is peanuts. Further, the Eagles still have seven picks next year plus three projected comp picks for a total of ten.

Goff executed that offense perfectly because he was decisive and let it rip

If didn't start out that way though. It took him a few games to get acclimated to the system and understand what Ben was looking for. Being a former McVay disciple helped for sure, but even then, there were some issues early on.

I know a lot of you think this way but it’s lame. People like to throw around the term ‘unacceptable’ in such a meaningless way. The Eagles had ‘unacceptable’ losses early last season and they won the Super Bowl (if you hadn’t heard).

You just try to win every game. Obviously you make it easier on yourself if you win the ones you are most favored but seasons play out in funny ways

ESP just one step away from the "Top 5 reasons" type of tweets. Or "comment below if you agree that Hurts is..."

And everyone will fall for it and keep posting his stuff.

Losing to KC when they have no WRs and a leaky defense is an impossible spot? The chiefs are on the decline, are we?

High 80s in KC next Sunday.

Later kickoff means it will be cooler in the second half.

Right at the end of the season the perception of the quality of the opponents can change. Regardless you don’t go into a game saying it’s acceptable to lose nor do you exit a game saying all hope is lost if you lose to a bad team. Every game is one game

ESP is a moron. What is acceptable or unacceptable has no meaning at this point in the season. I think this is a better team than the Chiefs. It's a difficult game but the Eagles have had more rest and time to prepare. They are the better team. They should win this game. If they don't win, they should fire Patullo and bench Hurts. They should also consider actually bring in a hot seat that Siranni has to sit in at work. Maybe some discomfort will get him coaching better.

Good to know there will be weather for the game.

ESP's tweet would only be better if it was a selfie video of him wearing a soccer jersey walking in to oncoming traffic.

This is an ESP take if there ever was one

This trade and the report that Howie made the biggest trade offer for Micah is interesting. I don't think Howie overpaid. I am sure he views those 2 picks he traded as potential or marginal roster players for a player with longer term roster potential. My guess is that there's likely only about a 40% chance for a 5th round pick to make a roster for 2 or more seasons. It's probably closer to 30% for 6th round picks. So, a 70% chance for a roster player vs. 100% chance is how they probably do the math. I also think Howie wants GMs to know that he is open for trades and will make a significant offer for a premium player. It's also a message to agents as well. A GM that wants to get set up for a potential QB or just needs a lot more talent than what is on the roster. I could see a team like Miami seeing if the Eagles would consider taking Chubb or Phillips for multiple picks.

Part of Booker playing so well is that the other Raiders DTs are really bad, so Booker stands out.

Wouldn't that mean he is the focus of the OL

It would be fun to see Patullo try some 2-back sets with Saquon and Tank. Never going to happen, but he's a VERY good RB. A creative OC could do some damage with that backfield.

Part of me hopes the kind of vanilla approach to offense was driven by the BVS injury. Watching the Bills and Ravens game, I realized they could be doing a lot more in both the run and passing game.

I’m just happy they’re running pistol, get these RBs downhill.

Got me pissed off. I seriously don't get why rhe league hates the Eagles. Good owner, good minority QB, class organization, major city with loyal fan base. If he played for KC it would already have been a fine.

Another player spit towards him and laughed amd mocked him. You can clearly see that pn video. He was dumb and essentially served a one game already. BS.
