Its a little surprising to see a trade for a RB (vs CB etc), but the Jags are super high on the RB Tuten they drafted this year, so makes sense for them to move Bigsby on and Howie get a backup RB under contract for 2 more seasons that can be a KR.

I wouldn’t use the words acceptable or unacceptable to this Sunday’s game. What I do use is the expression "opportunity for a statement.” The Chiefs want to believe that the Super Bowl was a fluke … a one-time occurrence due to circumstances. Lots of other people want eto believe the same thing, and the Chiefs turning the tables on the Eagles on Sunday is the very best way to accomplish that.

Nick and Hurts and all the Eagles know that, and also see the opportunity to tell the football world that SB59 was exactly what it was … a beatdown by a better team on a not better team.

Time to make that statement.

Predicted it. NFL wants to drag out announcing it until the last possible moment to screw the Eagles over as much as possible. They can't let the golden child Chiefs fall to 0-2 and they also are going to be on a season long mission to F the Eagles over for blocking the NFL attempt to ban the tush push.

I also refuse to believe the Chiefs won't represent the AFC in the SB this year, again....despite the fact that it will be very popular to leave them for dead if the Eagles win on Sunday. Until Josh Allen and the Bills get a clue in the playoffs against them, I just don't believe it.

And beating the Chiefs Sunday is a huge boost in a SB rematch. The Eagles would officially be that team the Chiefs think they can't beat and don't want to play.

Absolutely, and in his 42 snaps his only stat was one Assist on a Tackle. I’m sure he played hard and occupied his the Patriots blockers’ attention, but that was the extent of his impact.

It makes for good theater. Someone needs to play the villain. The Eagles make as good a villain as any team. They also make an excellent antihero as well. Probably a better antihero than any other team … or any other city.

Hopefully Carter's ejection was basically his suspension and he's fined by the league. With that said, the Defense did tighten up 2nd half and played better holding the Cowboys to 0 points. The coverage is why Ceedee missed some of those catches. Someone was always there on him. Again these guys don't want to fall 0-2, they have a lot of pride and Andy's a great coach. We are getting everyone's best shot being the Champs.

It would be a statement for this team to put the Chiefs at 0-2. for the rest of the NFC - we ain't messing around Gonna be a tough game, but what's better than putting a great team in a hole they've not been in for years and years, and make it harder to play them in the SB?

A lot changes over the course of the season. The one advantage the Chiefs have had over the Bills and Ravens is their defense. It does seem that is an advantage they will still have. The Ravens' secondary looked ordinary. Hamilton did not look like a PB player. Alexander had a bad game. He probably looked worse than Adoree. They also don't have anyone that elite on their d-line. Kyle Van Noy is their best pass rusher. He's 34 and really just a rotational player. The Bills defense may be better than they showed on Sunday. They still just got run over and were lucky to get the win. The hope is that Hairston returns and improves the secondary. They also will probably tackle better as the season progresses. Cincinatti has 3 traffic cones, a turnstile and a cinderblock on their O-line. I do think the Browns have a very good defense but Burrow should be worried about surviving the season. It's hard to judge their defense but they did give up nearly 300 yards in the air to Joe Flacco. Denver could beat them just because of their defense. Bo Nix does not look like a good QB. I think the biggest challenger may be the Chargers but I would have to see it first. The Chiefs' offense will improve when Rice returns. They still don't have much of a running game and the o-line issues didn't look fixed.
