But that one Shipley screen on Thursday was exceptional

Eh, it was a pretty standard swing pass that the vast majority of RBs in the league would've executed in a similar manner. He wasn't covered, he didn't make anyone miss in space, he just caught the pass and then waited for two blocks to develop down field. Good play, but not really seeing anything exceptional about it.

Did he start last night? I tried looking for him.

I like Rodgers but he wasn’t facing Dak and Cee Dee out there last night

All I need now is the Carter suspension news on top of this to fully ruin my day.

Right at the end of the season the perception of the quality of the opponents can change. Regardless you don’t go into a game saying it’s acceptable to lose nor do you exit a game saying all hope is lost if you lose to a bad team. Every game is one game

Read the tweet of a moronic troll, expect to read a moronic troll take. He just wants attention. Why give it to him?

Freaking 12 pm and no news. They are screwing the Eagles in multiple ways.

Need to put AJ Dillon on defense for a couple plays. He will straighten out Jackson fast. But then again Sydney Brown may also accomplish that task.

Ship-Tank combo would be interesting, as it blends a scatback with a between the tackles guy - an inside/outside dilemma.

Shades of the old Mr. Inside/Mr. Outside.

The way Caleb was missing receivers, you could play 5 yards off and put up those numbers.

I also refuse to believe the Chiefs won't represent the AFC in the SB this year, again....despite the fact that it will be very popular to leave them for dead if the Eagles win on Sunday. Until Josh Allen and the Bills get a clue in the playoffs against them, I just don't believe it.

And beating the Chiefs Sunday is a huge boost in a SB rematch. The Eagles would officially be that team the Chiefs think they can't beat and don't want to play.

Well then, there's only one thing they can do.

All the more reason for the league to do it.

They didn't like how the Eagles flipped the script last season.

I suppose that from the way that announcement was made, the fifth round pick the Eagles are sending to the Jaguars is their own rather than the one they are getting from the 49ers.

Can anyone confirm this?

Ok, this is nice to look at

Tim McManus, I believe, confirmed that last night.

I mean, for the people freaking out on sending a 5th and 6th for Bigsby -- there's no way 12 rookie draft picks are making the 2026 Eagles. We still have 5 picks in the 1st 3 rounds, and 7 in the first 4 rounds. The chances of guys beyond that making the 53 is pretty low (McCord and APR didn't make it this year, and Hinton got the mystery injury). We were never making 12 or 13 picks.

Also, Bigsby is under contract for 2026 at a cheap number as well, when Dillon is gone. The RB room is now set for 2026 as well for 2 late picks that likely wouldn't have made the roster anyway.

I love this world where we think Huff could get 8 sacks and make it a 4th...

But yeah, it wasn't that pick so we keep the very low probability option.

7 picks in the top 150, and the Jets will be in the 60s.

So good chance all 7 make the roster next year, and Bigsby is under contract as well for 2026.

Who is potential FA? Howell, Dillon, Metchie, Goedert, Calcaterra, Granson, F Johnson, Toth, Pryor, Smith, Uche, Ojulari, Okoronko, Jackson, Blankenship - 15, probably missed one or two but you get the picture.

Two starters, one who's a good bet to be extended.

A bunch of veteran patches, who'll be replaced by other low cost patches next year.

So with a few promotions off the PS, and 7 draft picks, you're talking very little room at the inn for picks after the 5th round.

Gut feeling that we trounce the Chiefs. Again.

I hate Adoree starting, but if he's buns and they're quick to act I can accept it for one more week.

Nick Wright will spin it and say this was our Superbowl and the Chiefs are focused on getting back for the 4th straight year.

All good points. He could end up being a great player and decent depth if nothing else. It's always good to improve the team when there is an ability to do so.

A 5th and a 6th regardless of how many picks they have still seems like an over payment for a KR/backup RB. Could those picks have gotten them a young TE or guard or go towards a package for a better CB2? You correctly pointed out they still have picks to make moves if they need to and Iggles is right teams probably aren't willing to move them yet, but it still reduces the capital they have if/when they do make other moves.

It makes sense and the RB room is set for a few years with good depth. That still seems like over payment, but if it works out we won't care.

Cooper is back to nickel?

I would still love Rodgers back though.
