Dallas was running a lot of C3, so a safety is at least rotating down at the snap, if not there already.

We were also running a fair amount of double TE or tight alignments with our WRs, which dictated/allowed more hats in box.

For the most part I don’t think we were doing much RO, and the snaps out of the pistol or under center I didn’t see the defense really accounting for Hurts in demonstrative way. He scrambled a lot as Eberfluss had his guys running a competent C3/C4 scheme… but were there called runs for Jalen?

NFL.com disagrees with you. They had Majors as the top rated Center, with Willie Lampkin 2nd and Drew Kendall 6th.

The potential for losing is realistic, but to frame the upcoming game as an ‘impossible spot’ is a bit dramatic. The 2025 Chiefs haven’t proven to be a juggernaut yet.

All he had to do was point his face towards the ground and spit, if he truly wanted to spit at the ground. Just so happens Carter was directly in front of that lineman whose shoulder he spit over. Then proceeds to smile and smirk at Carter.

He was also about 5 yards away from his OL. He walked all the way over there to spit over their shoulders, towards Carter. He easily could have stayed far removed from everyone, and just spit at the ground with nobody nearby.

Interesting trick I learned back in high school. If you read between the lines of a novel, there are no words there... which really speeds up the time to get through a book. I read Grapes of Wrath in about 2 minutes. Turning pages is time consuming with such little dialogue.

Sometimes you see players miss no time. So thats a possibility too.

BUT, typically thatd be a lower risk position. QB who hopefully wont take as many hits, OL, DL.... put a flack jacket on and play through it.

Im not sure a RB will or should try playing through it, because of the risk of displacing the fracture and damaging internal organs. Higher risk for those guys who will be getting tackled a lot.

Then again, hes not the lead back and doesnt get a ton of touches...

So I dont know what the team will do. But as far as healing time, 4-6 weeks a typical timeframe for a broken rib without complications.

If I had to guess, for a RB to play it safe, but also still be a little aggressive considering his limited workload- miss 2 weeks. Which, due to happening on a thursday night actually has him return after missing just 1 game.

Having a retracble roof is fine. You can keep it open when the weather is normal. For certain circumstances you can close it.

If the Eagles had a retractable roof this past Sunday there would have never been a delay and we would have beat their a$$ seeing as though we had momentum right there. At least i like to believe that.

You are correct, the weather on Sunday was absolutely perfect for football. Thursday, on the other hand, had some lightning.

KC is a common opponent within our division. That tiebreaker is before conference games.

For conference seeding, conference games are before common opponents.

So the AFC West and the Rams/Bucs are similarly seeded in importance. The Bills game is the least important.

He’s worth a look. He was a stud in a big-time program. Howie is just being Howie. If measurables were all we would need then there would be no Aaron Donalds among an infinitude of others. To leap to another sport, Charles Barkley was a tremendous player and power forward. I met him in a shoe store. I’m 6’5” and I’m two inches taller than he is. My measurable beats his. Athleticism is nice but how a guy plays is not always reducible to measurables.
