He certainly took some hard hits last week. It just seems that injuries and missing multiple games is a part of his game. Some players appear to have no luck whatsoever when it comes to being injured.🤷‍♂️

There's no just seems about it. He's missed 22 games over his career. The only season he played in all 16 games was his rookie season and Ertz was still here so he wasn't being counted on as a starter. He's as injury prone as they come and the Eagles have failed to bring in an adequate backup when the chances have been there.

Goedert injury is frustrating but not surprising. He still remains in integral part of this offense, but just can't stay healthy. I wish they addressed that position more than adding Granson and relying on Calcaterra.

Calcaterra is a prototypical new era Tight End. In many ways a "big WR.” He will do fine (almost as well as Goedert) as a receiving target for Hurts. He will be a big drop off from Goedert as an inline blocker. Patullo will need to use motion schemes to put Calcaterra into situations where he can move block rather than inline blocker.

Oblique probably means the bone of the rib wasn't fractured but it was the cartilage between the ribs, which can honestly be even more painful.
