I don't believe anyone has suggested that. If so, and I missed it... . That was a C+ game, at best. Early in the year, priority one is getting the W, but then identifying what needs to be fixed. That was a coaches' dream of a game. Get the W and get a million things to work on for the future. Nobody hoists the Lombardi based on their performance in Week 1. Plenty of season to fix things, but things DEFINITELY need fixing.

Burrow's injury is a toe. No idea if its the dreaded turf toe.

That was a super common injury when teams played on death carpet like the Vet's surface.

I’ve felt this way for a while, he’s going to ask out of cincy at some point cause their oline has been bad ever since he got into the league. Some of that is on him pushing for Higgins and chase back when they could’ve used the money on Higgins to fix his oline. Also bengals:

He can't block for himself. That's why he struggles to elevate and his team and why he's hurt so much. His OL has been crap since day 1, and remains such.

No one has posited that he walks on water, or is a perfect QB. The lament regarding him is that we'll never get to see how good he could REALLY be, without a massive overhaul to that OL.
