I think it's been clear from what we have seen from his career is that he views games as just ways to win them and to him especially last season it was in his head that as long as he didn't turn the ball over but just managed things but make 3-5+ plays a game when he needs to with his legs or arm and they will win. But when it comes to do or die championship level games he confidently becomes more aggressive from the get go and attacks that game at another level.

Fans are upset he doesn't play every game with at level but I prefer a player that is able to play smart winning football over the marathon of a NFL season but can confidently and at an insane clutch level turn it on when the games reach their ultimate importance level. It's almost a wonder that the Chiefs won that first Super Bowl. I don't think they would have without the weak ass call on Bradberry at a far too crucial moment to suddenly decide to call the game that tight. When Jalen hits that high super saiyan level he has hit in the two Super Bowls and latest NFC Championship Game show what his peak is capable of when he can either seemingly not trigger it until the most important games or just chooses to keep it hidden until those times to unleash them. Either way, when Jalen is playing at his best level like in those games he is the best player in the league. I think we see more of those games from him. I think there is an inevitable season during his prime where he plays that level for most of a season. Is it this season, or within the next 2-3? I don't know but it is coming at some point. An MVP and 2nd Super Bowl win that solidifies his path to the Hall of Fame.

Like you I saw happy feet, lack of accuracy and touch - these problems are connected and correctable. If he can’t settle down versus San Jose State at home, yeah that’s a big problem.

Watching my two teams simply demonstrated the importance of experience for a QB.

Allar was picture perfect for Penn State, sure, much easier opponent, but he's improved every season and looked totally in control, added arm strength, more mobile, and seeing the field.

Arch looked like a kid with two starts under his belt, on the road against a top defense, not seeing the field, not comfortable and screwing up his mechanics.

Sark didn't help him with an ultraconservative game plan, overprotecting him to the point where he never felt comfortable letting it rip.

I think you won't see that again from Sark, "gotta dance with the one that brought ya" - Texas playing it safe led to as many turnovers as if they had let the kid attack.

Ironically, by losing this game, Manning too a lot of pressure off himself, by dashing expectations, he'll be allowed to progress like a young QB and not be an instant savior.

And kill this nonsense about going pro with less than 20 college starts - a recipe for disaster at the next level.

Yeah. For one thing, Hurts is built like a FB and works out like one.

And hopefully Siri will realize that outside runs with Hurts is a way to get him killed.

He's become a much better pocket passer, and if they ever develop a screen game, he won't have to sit in the pocket as often for those long developing routes.

While Barkley isn't a bad receiver, I think Shipley has the potential to be an elite receiving RB, which will help keep Hurts untouched on passing downs, RBs and TEs are a QB's best friends when his WRs are smothered.

Not every pass play has to be 20 yards downfield. Nothing wrong with dinkin' and dunkin' and then strike like lightning.

McNabb had a pretty sturdy build himself and lifted to the point of seemingly losing some flexibility in his shoulders. But the clock ran out on him way faster than some guys who were drafted before him, like Peyton or a guy drafted the year after him, like Brady or Brees.

McNabb's effectiveness lasted less than 10 years. Hurts is already at 5. His body will start to recover slower as he approaches and passes 30. His style will need to change with it.

They have a lot of fun formations with the OL split out like that. I watched the McDevitt/Harrisburg game yesterday on TV and PSU has a commit named Kevin Brown who's 6-5 290 built like a LB. He was fun to watch throughout the game and I'm sure he would do really well on plays like that once he's up in HV.
