Initially the 2nd pass to Smith looked bad but after watching the replay,

Hurts knew Smith was one on one and he threw it to a spot knowing it would have been a jump ball - basically trusted Smith to come down with it.

yes I know.... it was a chuck and pray and since we have Brown and Smith, Hurts gets away with that much more often than not. Doesnt make it good. He should be throwing and hitting designed deep shots, purposefully. Not ONLY throwing it down field in a panic as his answer to a blitz.

Denzel Ward is the one I’d keep an eye out for. And possibly Joey Porter Jr from the Steelers if they’re not in it, but the Steelers find a way to stay in it every year somehow.

Ward makes sense too as browns want picks and connection with Howie and their front office. If i remember correctly we were trying to trade for Johnson back in 2023 before the bears declined to actually deal him at the deadline

He did throw the red flag pretty well - does that count?

Are we putting Sirianni in at QB?

Not going to lie that’s pretty Fing impressive for a big guy like that.

Said it when it happened, that kind of hustle is truly admirable. And as the LT came from the opposite side of the field as well.

Bold move after only week 2…

Mahomes had 3+ awful throws today.

All he had to do was loft it up to a running free WR. He badly overthrew him. It was hideous.

He had Adoree beat on the sideline and he missed out of bounds by about a yard.

He also missed Kelce on some basic throws. He only missed by about a foot but a miss is a miss.

He also threw Kelce a worm burner that Kelce just snatched before it hit the ground.

lol - he had less than 2 seconds to throw it - he identified the blitz, knowing Smith would be on one on one coverage and threw it to a spot knowing Smith would be there.

If they didn’t take/get Campbell i was fine with them going Simmons. I liked him coming out as long as his medical checked out from his injury. I actually think he’s going to be good down the road

1 QB was under tons of pressure from an elite defense, and had his best WRs not even suited up for the game.

The other QB was Jalen Hurts who has absolutely no excuses.

its a very bad play by him.

Great to see Mukuba and Campbell having a positive impact on games already. One of my bigger gripes with Howie was not being able to draft immediate contributors on the defensive side of the ball. But he’s turned a corner with that since taking Carter. Three straight years now with Carter, Q, DeJean, Campbell, and Mukuba impacting games out the gate.

It was not a chuck and pray. It was an on target 60/40 ball where he knew his WR would adjust back to it and the DB could not.

It was nothing like the dagger but it was a solid NFL throw.

Compare that to Stafford on 4th down at the end of the playoff game just throwing Nacua like 3+ yards OOB instead of giving him a 50/50 ball.

It was extremely underthrown, and also, it was a chuck and pray no look pass.

No it wasn't. It was one of the few times he knew Smith would have the advantage of one on one coverage. Our receivers were blanketed most of the game - he took a shot (as he should have) and it worked.

I will add that Zadarius Smith looked awesome at times.

It’s not when you have receivers like DeVonta and AJ on the outside. Those are more 75/25 balls than 50/50. But the only blitz beater shouldn’t be heave balls down the field. No idea why they can’t work the middle intermediate part of the field.

Have DA on my fantasy team. If we put #8 on him, he’s going to eat like it’s Golden Corral.

If McKee got to start with the rest of this offensive roster, in Patullo's system we saw in pre-season the offense would literally be averaging 50 points per game. We could have 3-4 WRs, Goedert, AND Barkley getting madden numbers. AND winning super bowls. We dont have to trade good QB play for super bowl wins. We CAN have both.

If you could pick one of the 11 starters on offense to upgrade, hurts is easily in the conversation

Him and Uche are playing very well. I think Uche might be the most underrated guy on the defense right now and hope his snaps increase.

Yes you do

Next week will be tough sledding too.

I thought the Chiefs played like crap today…worse than Dallas did last week. The Rams are right in it with the Packers and Lions as the best non-Eagle teams in the NFC.

We are going to need to see a lot more pass rush and a lot more out of Saquan than we have through 2 weeks if they are going to go 3-0.

One saving grace is no more Donald

The Eagles have somehow become the team of Hollywood and the entertainment world. Bradley Cooper, David Corenswet, Kevin Hart, Myles Teller, Shane Gillis, Whitney Cummings, Anne Hathaway, Kevin Ryan and H Foley are all Eagles fans.

I guess that’s what happens when Dallas sucks for 30 years.

Lots of celeb Eagles fans. I don't think most really showboat like a lot of celeb fans of other teams
