I remember a bunch of stats about how the Eagles were using more motion and how it was so nice to have an OC that wasn’t so influenced by Sirianni. There was also a lot of people happy that they fixed the problems vs the blitz. They had no answer for it today. The simplicity today was a little embarrassing. I’m sure some of it was Hurts but there didn’t seem to be a bunch guys running around open.

I kinda think we should just go 4 wide and create space that way for Barkley. The lack of open receivers is a concern considering the attention our run game gets. That is concern No. 1 for me right now. Patullo needs to step up.Some one should tell Patullo that you dont have to run from condensed formations, you can actually spread defenses out and open run lanes for your back.Seems every formation is either 2 TE with 2wr tight to the formation or 3 WR sets with all 3 tight tight to the formation.Spread em out to run, pack it in to pass

I’m hoping we win 2 of 3 but the dodgers are playing well coming into this series like he Phillies. They’ve won 6 of 7. Good pitching matchups: Ranger vs. Sheehan, Sanchez vs Ohtani and luzardo vs. snell.
September 15Sep 15 Ugly wins are fine until it's time for contracts, pro bowl, all pro, top 100, hall of fame, etc.

We could have 3-4 WRs, Goedert, AND Barkley getting madden numbers. AND winning super bowls. We dont have to trade good QB play for super bowl wins. We CAN have both. One too many beers again?Hurts won us the Dallas game. Hurts makes the rest of the running game (Yes Saquon) better. The running game looked pedestrian when McKee played. I like McKee and think he could go on to have a decent career but this offense is geared around the run and it would not be the same with McKee.

Saquon Barkley doesn't rush for 2000 yards last season without Jalen Hurts at QB. If you understood football, you would understand that. The running game looked pedestrian when McKee played. September 15Sep 15 So the Rams scored 14 in week 1.Then they beat the team that started a rookie QB and is 3-16 since the start of last year.Jeffrey Simmons probably starts next to Jalen Carter on the Eagles Name another Titan who makes the first 22 on the Eagles...This scares you?

September 15Sep 15 Mukuba is a rookie DB. All everyone remembers is the INT return…an INT that bounced into his chest thanks to a drop. He wasn’t even in great position. He did have a great tackle on (I think) Hollywood Brown (that’s like 180lb vs 170lb). He also single handedly marched the Chiefs down the field on their TD drive with a holding call, getting trucked by Mahomes, and torched by Kelce. With a rookie getting their 1st action, it’s fair to assume the highs will continue and the lows will reduce themselves. So he’s on track. But he’s not entrenched as a great pick and present and future stud safety yet.

September 15Sep 15 Next week will be the end of the Adoree Jackson experiment by the way after Puka/Adams get done with him.

September 15Sep 15 Hurts tucks it and tries to take off through the A gap every time he sits in the pocket and doesn’t like what he sees. Those A gap runs have been devastating with a high first down percentage, but defenses are starting to account and control for that. That’s what they can work on this week. I don’t know if they need to narrow the training wheels a bit and have Hurts press just a bit more with those clean pocket throws or if they need to draw up some routes that pull traffic away from the middle of the field (he doesn’t like throwing there anyway). Not sure what the right adjustment is…but they are wearing out the treads on these A gap runs.

Who knows.
September 15Sep 15 I'm happy 2-0.Fangio is experimenting right now, he'll settle on his defense in a few weeks.I think Putullo is being overly cautious but;1) Brown is obviously hurt, no burst2) No Goedert3) 90 degrees, I think they were hoping to wear down the KC defense and slow the pass rushKC has a good defense, a top DC, and a definite home court advantage. Those throws to Smith weren't "Just chuck it up," I'm sure they practice that on a regular basis, and yes, they're probably deliberately underthrown b/c the DB is running with him and has to locate the ball, whereas Smith is excellent at high pointing balls. He almost caught the first one and did catch the second one.If you saw some of the wide shots, you could see receivers covered and Hurts with only a couple seconds to throw, his check downs were right on target and a few got some decent yardage.Yes, I want to see some more creativity, but I suspect that will happen over time as they get healthy on offense.

September 15Sep 15 I do not understand how Ringo could be so much worse than Jackson. Same goes for Bennett, but he hasn’t been around long.Fangio has all but admitted he doesn’t even like Jackson.
