I suspect it was a mix of coping from Chief fans and frustration that we went to Arrowhead and won, from other teams. Not entirely based in reality when it was focused on a minimal amount of plays. Last week, the Boys got some very friendly calls, as did the Chiefs this week. When is taunting, taunting? no one knows

So its legal to interfere with a stop and go route now? I suspect the refs determined it was an uncatchable ball since he stopped running which would be a fair no call because it looked pretty well overthrown from where he was.Smith ran into the defender who was standing still. I could see them picking up the flag for that reason.

Best OL in the NFL, top 3 and top 10 WR, best RB in the NFL, unstoppable short yardage play, terrific young defense, efficient QB. All of those things combined shouldn't equal the product we see on the field.Perfection and winning dominantly can become the expected result, even worse addicting. FR.

Prior to hurts and the tush push, Carson wentz was 91.3% effective on a QB sneak from 2017-2019. Acting like the eagles wouldn’t be highly effective just running a regular Qb sneak with hurts is pretty laughable to me. Their offensive line being as good as it is and hurts as a runner with his lower body strength would be pretty highly effective. Add on Chris jones multiple times was lined up offsides and wasn’t called. Yet people complaining about the false start not called correctly on us meanwhile if called correctly there’s a flag nearly every time for jones lining up offsides.

They didn't have to replace Goedert, but not bringing in a suitable backup via FA, or drafting a guy who has TE1 potential has been a problem for this team. Clearly this team is different with Goedert on the field. Having a player who can step in for him would go a long way. I was a HUGE Harold Fannin fan going into the draft. He's TE2 with the Browns and has 12 catches for 111 yards through 2 games. Would have loved having him here.At least they HAVE to address this after the season since every TE contract on the roster expires this year.

The Chiefs DB was all over him, wasn't looking at the ball, there was 100% illegal contact but they just let it go.The one you're referring to, I agree, I'm not upset because it was 20 yards past him

I know the play but I wasnt paying enough attention at the moment to remember the contact on that one. When they showed the replay I was just focused on what the injury might be.

As you say, it won't stop the sneak or materially change the fact this team is very good at short yardage runs. The complaining will move to QB sneaks being unfair. The real lesson is the officials penalising the Eagles by allowing teams to line up offsides on short yardage plays, where perhaps they don't for other teams. Why are the Eagles being discriminated against? We can all play that game.
September 15Sep 15 Saw an interesting debate on Twitter about who’s the worst coach in the AFC west. Reid, Carroll, Payton or harbaugh. All have really good resumes. Probably the best division of coaches

September 15Sep 15 Defense looks good and will get better as the season goes on. Offense is a snooze fest. I think it's the passing and running concepts. Hopefully it's a learning issue rather than easily deciphered concepts. However, pretty clear that when Smith or Brown motion across a run is coming to the opposite side. They did that about 8 times in the game.Rams game: Eagles offense has to play better and score more points.Rams should put Nacua wherever Jackson is lined up. He will have a career day.
September 15Sep 15 Suggesting that Patullo should have been able to step in to this role with no adjustment period is crazy. He needs time. There are definitely issues, but I think he will get better. Brian Johnson was an idiot, KP is not.Although, the one thing that probably frustrated me the most was the constant runs on 1st down for 1 yard. It was incredibly predictable and kept putting us in 2nd/3rd and long. They HAVE to mix in some passes / play action on 1st downs occasionally just to keep the defense honest and allow drives to start. These are easy things to fix, and I expect that they will.

September 15Sep 15 Mukuba had some huge plays. I'm curious to hear from Fangio if he cleaned up the negative plays too. I don't remember anything egregious but that's not something you necessarily notice on first watch. Loving what I'm seeing from our 1st/2nd picks for now. Both look physical as hell.
