Can only imagine Hill and rice terrorizing the Kansas City community off the field together

Kind of a desperation move.

Since Rodgers would have been cheap, don't you think if Fangio wanted him Howie would have kept him? It's not like Williams or Sweat getting big money.

Lmao..

Man I hope Howie trades for Ward. Or just brings back Rogers

Rodgers is starting in MN. I don't think they're going to bring him back. I can't imagine why Bennett isn't getting more time.

Tbh depending on the price and the result of the investigation I’d probably do it if i were them. I don’t see worthy making it through 15 games and playoffs with a fully torn labrum. He and rice kind of change the dynamic of that passing game. I think they need an upgrade at RB but i think his speed and rice’s ability probably helps open up some stuff running wise

If we're not going to throw it to Calcaterra and simply ask him to block, then why in the world is he on the field. Just put Granson and Latu out there at this point.

I'm trying to make that my focus. We won a game that I had expected to be a loss. So, that's a major plus. The flip side is that the offense looked very pedestrian in the process. The good part is that once again, the defense looked very good. They have a few wrinkles to work through, but by and large, they are the strength of the team. It just goes to show the importance of having an old salt at DC. There are a lot of personnel changes on the defensive side of things, but the same system, the same attitude and the same pillars on the roster.

And specials are off the chain good, too.

We’re finally going to see what the 2020 Eagles offense would have looked like if Howie took Jefferson instead of Reagor.

Sucks his brains have already been scrambled

Thanks Travis, lol.

Well now he’s definitely off a potential trade candidate list

Got the bengals defense so a chance he could perform well

Well, some thoughts after a weird game -- I didn't see most of the 1st quarter thanks to the LA Fox affiliate sticking with the Giants/Cowboys game while Sunday Ticket was blacked out claiming the game was on my local Fox station, and a game I thought we'd lose turned into a moderately frustrating win.

Reading stuff like this makes me so happy to live in the area and not have to worry about stuff like this.

Because the stat is a turnover and it wasn't a turnover.

Both appear in the Gamebook of each game.

Kind of think with his past transgressions it’s not a given he doesn’t. It’s also reported as 8 different instance and not just 1. Also goodell will do whatever he really wants.

Frankly doesn’t help the NFL’s image when National organization for women has been hounding the nfl about him not being suspended.

I’m sure they’ll get it figured out.

Keep in mind the accusations are part of a divorce proceeding - so there is obviously bias there and could be a result of very aggressive divorce attorneys.

The accusations themselves state things like "throwing a computer on the ground” and "hair pulling”. Which isn’t "ok” but doesn’t sound as bad as some of the "sound bites” make it sound.

Which Hill’s side denies fully btw.

Let them figure it all out, imo.

It's the fatal flaw of Sunday Ticket if we are the national game at 4:25. If the local game (Rams) or another game goes long, we get screwed.

Going well in Minnesota

OFFENSE

  • Yeah, this play calling needs to change and become a LOT less obvious. The number of times I yelled at my TV not to run into an 8 or 9 man front, only to see Jalen hand it off, was discouraging. It feels like maybe they are doing it hoping Saquon breaks through and houses it, but that's not a good strategy. I don't know if they are limiting Jalen's ability to audible, but our offense is just so predictable based on formation.

  • Jalen -- it was a solid game where he protected the ball and made the one big play when he had to. There aren't plenty of guys open where he won't pull the trigger; there's just nowhere to go with the ball way too often.

  • 10 total drives -- 5 successful (2 TDs, 2 FGs and killed clock) and 5 unsuccessful (punt). Felt much worse than that

  • Barkley played well and got basically every yard out of the play calls

  • DeVonta almost made the jump ball catch in the 1st half (play where he got hurt) and then made the huge play in the second half. AJ's catch on the FG drive before the half falling down was amazing. Would be nice if we could stretch the field more vertically and horizontally with them.

  • Thought the line played well and gave Jalen time. Steen continues to hold up well and remove concerns.

  • Calcaterra needs to add to the passing game given his terrible blocking

I think I am on record fairly consistently stating that I do not want my QB running as a designed part of the offense and having him be a major factor in the running game. That being said, I would welcome that if it meant that the offense had some sort of rhyme or reason to it that made me confident in their ability to move the ball consistently down the field. The running game is bottled up. Maybe because they aren't leveraging Hurts' as a runner this year and this running game really needs that to thrive. OR... maybe its the lack of cohesion on the OL with a banged up Dickerson and a less road grating Steen... but the baffling part is why the passing offense looks like it was designed for a high school (probably freshman) team where the QB doesn't have the arm to throw the ball more than 8 yards down field. Where did all the old passing concepts go? And why can't we run it? Just makes no sense. And the lack of a passing game, has nothing to do with Hurts not being a part of the running game. If anything, him not being a threat to run should back the safeties up and open up the shorter stuff... IF they'd ever threaten a pass in the 20 yard range. blink

No not necessarily. They signed Adoree and Fangio didn't want him. I think they just wanted to penny pinch in the offseason and cut costs anywhere they could so they could sign their young guys to big deals and maintain flexibility.

They are 0-2 and Worthy will be playing through a big time injury, if he suits up. They are desperate. And desperate times call for desperate measures. I'd say that they are suffering the Super Bowl loser hangover as well... and are likely to miss the post-season. Crazy to consider.

That has been around long enough that they should have had that figured out by now. nonono. But, they just want your money, and they figure if you're willing to pay for it, you'll put up with the stupid crap. I really despise the NFL and their self-imposed rules like that. They don't NEED to do that, they just CHOOSE to. Sunday Ticket should have ALL games available on Sunday (early and late, not SNF). Local blackouts applying should only matter for a game that's not actually televised, not one that's pre-empted by an OT game. Its not like its actually a different broadcast... its still the FOX coverage, just through Sunday Ticket. nonono
