The only reason it can’t be considered a sport is because it’s scripted.

What's the script this year for football?

I feel the opposite. I thought we'd beat the Chiefs, but the Rams/Bucs are both a step up. I'd be very happy with a split.

Thats where I’m at too. I had no worries going into sundays game and the chiefs made me sweat more than I thought they would.

Green and white confetti after the Super Bowl with the AFC team losing again.

Just took a lunchtime constitutional and something struck me about the reaction to the shove. Chris Jones reaction speaks of a man unable to accept he can't solve every problem with the shove. It burns at the very deepness of his soul. Its lovely to watch./

As for the NFLs approved mouthpiece whining about a play that accounts for under 1% of overall plays each week

Too early to call bust?

I’m getting Trent Richardson vibes. Volume is there but not doing a damn thing with it.

Too early. I don’t think it helps that geno smith isn’t very good. Last year he wasn’t nearly as good as previous two years. Yet the raiders decided to get him and pay him. Currently this year he has 4 ints and a 66 QB rating

Player i was talking about was 23 maybe who is a white rb that they kept in there and throwing passes too

But they are insane athletes. Many are in peak physical condition, outside the big fat guy. They perform 3-4 times a week with no offseason doing extremely physical stunts. It’s amazing injuries aren’t more common than they already are.

Doesn’t help that for years one of their best superstars you can’t even see

See nothing there but Shane McMahon and words

The two biggest weaknesses on the roster are TE and CB2.

Rams/Bucs are both equipped to take advantage of that.

WTF are you talking about. Clearly this is wrestlings best superstar:

For those of you familiar with South Philly…

Thinking about driving up on Sunday and finding somewhere to watch the game. Anyone have any suggestions? Parking? Preferably a divey type bar.

Lincoln financial field. You’re welcome

I really thought Baker Mayfield was DOA after leaving Cleveland. He’s made a nice career for himself.

I'm just glad we don't see those damn commercials anymore

Next up needs to be Mahomes commercials

Garage (right next to Pats/Geno's) is a good one. Wouldnt call it a dive per se but it definitely feels like a bar. Great selection, good South Philly vibes. Will probably be busy though.

Pub on Passyunk East (Pope bar) is another in that area. Kinda divey without being ****. Easy walk to some good restaurants if you wanna make it a night.

Ray's Happy Birthday Bar is the diviest bar I can think of around there. Good memories of that place, but you're not getting craft brews and I doubt their TV situation is great. But definitely a scene.

Projection update:

Finished with the most points this week by a wide margin. In fact, the difference between my team and the second highest scoring team was greater than the second highest scoring team and the 7th highest scoring team.

Thank you again for your expert fantasy insight on my QB situation

My team also scored the highest in my league by a wide margin. And I dont have those sucky QBs you have. Congrats on a good roster other than your QBs, who suck.

Did he turn it to 11?

The Philadium (small) and Chicky&Petes (big w/parking) are basically on the same block, if you want to be near the stadium. Big Charlie's is a dump, but it's a KC bar if you want give those losers an earful (I wouldn't recommend it otherwise). I usually go to the New Wave Cafe because I'm classy. Grumpy's and the Fireside Lounge are also very S.Philly; but probably better if you are a smoker and looking for an experience.

How far are you from the city? If you are a decent drive, I don't think it would be worth it to drive into the city just to watch it at a dive bar and not actually attend the game. You can find a bar with Eagles fans anywhere. Save the gas money.

Ray's is the only bar I've been to where the smoke has been so thick my eyes hurt (maybe McGlinchey's). But it's right there by Pats/Genos, so good vibes.

That's a pretty big reason. They are stunt men, they are entertainers, they are actors, they are athletic... even athletes, but that doesn't qualify it as a sport. A script changes everything. And they are great salesmen, they have to sell themselves in the midst of the scripts to become fan favorites and then they can have longevity. But, they belong more to the Screen Actors Guild than they would any professional athlete's organization.

Also home of some of the absolute worst random weekday karaoke performances I've ever seen. 10/10.
