Put yourself in his shoes and it has to be pretty demoralizing that you held the passing game to 101 yards, held Saqoun to less than 90, and yet you still lost. It's a tough pill to swallow for a defensive player.Micah was just pure cope though. His didn't even make sense.

It's tagged as "sports entertainment" which is what it is. It's scripted choreography and is closer to dance than anything. There are athletic components to it, former athletes of other sports like football and amateur wrestling have transitioned into it, but the pre-determined factor takes it out of the running of being a legitimate sport, by definition. The cat has been out of the bag about wrestling being "fake" for almost 50 years now. Everybody knows. Going to a wrestling fan and saying "you know that stuff is fake, right?" would be equivalent to someone saying, "You know Keanu Reeves didn't actually kill all those people in John Wick, right?".

The dude butchered pronouncing his name twice. Add that to the fact that he was saying stupid junk all night and he is obviously not very good at his job which is par for the course with ESPN. The point was completely relevant and as per usual you feel the need to interject your every thought to either troll or pleasure yourself over it. Either way 99% of what you have to say around here is a waste of bandwidth.

Hard to say it with Mahomes and Reid still there, but...That crap by Chris Jones at the end of the game was patheticKelce is a shell of himself and should have retiredMahomes isn't really the unquestioned best QB in the league anymore and misses a bunch of throwsReid crying about false starts after the game -- he never did stuff like that beforeThe "Free 4" shirts were an embarrassing lookIf I had to bet, I still think they right the ship and make the playoffs with Rice and Worthy coming back. Back the offensive line is terrible -- a rookie, 2 bad players (LG and RT), and 2 all pros who aren't playing well. The defense is still good, but the offense is just completely broken. And the locker room is giving off big loser energy.Plus...screw Nick Wright.Chiefs will be 10-7 this year if they're lucky. Been saying this for awhile, but Mahomes is a lil overrated. Won last 2 Superbowls because of a Championship defense and fortuitous calls in big games. Think the magic is gone. Too many good teams out West as well have caught up. Was a good run! It's Hurts' time and Mahomes needs to take notes on big game playing.

Whether it not it should be built differently was a debate we all had and that I got wrong last year. It carried them to a Lombardi trophy. Whether or not they can sustainably win titles with how different it is...that debate is going to rage on until they irrefutably become a dynasty...and I'm still not sure what my opinion is on that one.But again, the offense is built into what it is. And we need to evaluate it through that prism. Jalen Hurts is a weapon for this offense. He is not the centerpiece. A traditional offense has their franchise QB and they just put it all on his shoulders. If he has a good game, they probably win. If he has a bad game, they probably lose. Jalen Hurts is another AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, or RB in the rotation. Just like any other weapon, some days he'll go off and other days he's going to be quiet and not contribute much. But the W/L record is not all on him like it often is on QB's. He's just another weapon for this offense. This offense's franchise QB equivalent is their collective running game. That's what they hang their hat, their game plan, and their chances of winning on. Their running game creates passing opportunities. It's usually the opposite for other teams. And through 2 weeks, the running game has been merely good. Not even close to sufficiently dominant that an offense built upside down is going to roll the way it's designed to. Jalen Hurts isn't changing. He's not getting the help he's used to on the ground. They need better blocking in the running game.I think Hurts is in a similar situation that early 2000s Brady was before he really accelerated and turned into the elite QB from 2007 and beyond. Brady had a top-tier RB in 2004 with Corey Dillon who rushed for over 1600 yards, his job was to manage the game, not do anything stupid, and let the running game and defense win games. Everyone loved Peyton Manning because he had all the stats throwing for 4000+ yards and 40+ TDs. That wasn't 2001-2006 Brady and it currently isn't Hurts. I think Hurts is similarly being compared to Lamar and Josh Allen the same way Brady was being comped to Manning. Guys who rack up stats versus guys who play within their system and win when it counts. Hurts, similar to Brady, has the great quality of elevating his play when it matters most. Two of the best games of his career have come in both Super Bowls. Maybe he turns into what Brady eventually did in 2007, but as for now people need to temper their expectations as far as wanting him to throw for 350 yards and 3 TDs every game because that's currently not the player he is and it is not the system that they run.
