Meanwhile Siri is perfectly healthy after his big deep pass of the challenge flag.

His form was impressive, definitely played some baseball in his day. This was the first thing I thought of during the game when he made that throw of the flag. Just needs a little more air šŸ˜‚.

It’s time to call any QB who plays behind that execrable OL as injury prone.

I will never understand why rebuilding teams spend a high pick and mucho bucks on a QB before they build a top ten offensive line.

You can cover for mediocre WRs with a short passing game (see AR in the 2000s), but if you can't protect a young QB, kiss your investment goodbye.

The second thing I don't understand is why teams don't "red shirt" young QBs before throwing them into the fire, Peyton survived, but most don't.

Schefter came across as league shill; parroting whatever Uncle Rog told him to, so that people would turn against the play., in the hope they can ban it

No nuance or subtleness was present, and any reaction is entirely justified when the league turns a blind eye to other issues

With AJ Dillon the OL Back breaker, Hurts, and Saquon idk why we just don’t line up and start doing triple option or wing-T. Even having some Mailata FB plays.

Normally I'm not a conspiracy person but the league is 100% sending this messaging out regarding the tush push.

Just over the last couple of weeks we've heard some unreasonably strong language about the play from all sorts of people who would operate as mouthpieces for the NFL.

From Schefter to Greenberg calling it an "abomination, multiple ESPN articles about it, and then the referee dude on the actual broadcast saying he's "done with the play."

Almost like they started running the play last week. The only thing that changed from the last couple of years was their failure to get it banned in the off-season. They're too dumb to realize it's literally bringing attention to the NFL and inarguably NOT hurting ratings

schefty does not like being called out.

And I love that the Eagles are saying FU to Roger & Co by running it so much.

How tragic for him.

the play isn't flashy or the nfl/goodell would be creaming their collective pants every time the eagles lined up to run it.

The Slot-T would blow their minds...opposition would be screaming for false start or illegal shift every play.

Ignoring the defenses always being lined up in the neutral zone is what annoys me

But heaven forbid the snapper adjusts the ball so that he can get the laces situated for him prior to a field goal attempt.

Nothing new on the TP, there's no reason that the refs can't call the play correctly despite the histrionics - even the difficulty to spot the ball should be overcome by their electronic crusade against the chain gang.

Putting chips in the football would solve a lot of problems

While I agree there is a place in football where chips are beneficial in this particular use case it really is not accurate enough assuming you are referring to RFID. What kind of chip are you referring to?

Why not? Is Track and Field a sport?

Sure. Dont need a third party to determined a winner. Time and distance are objective

The teams he loves suck at it or he'd be doing the same thing. He wouldn't be so against it if it was the Chiefs, Cowboys, or Rams.

Page 420. You know that THAT means.

Just 80 more pages to 500.

Now Schrager with another sound byte on ESPN: "it's not aesthetically pleasing, it's not how we want to watch the game"

The play has become a spectacle and generates a ton of buzz for the league.

I've said it so many times, if the NFL wasn't selling football they'd be out of business. They're so stupid

Washed at 30. Sad.

I guess all the yellow flags pouring onto the field every other play is much more appealing.
