How many have been injured on punts vs the shove?

We lost our starting FB for the season on the opening kickoff of the NFL season.

Would it? Where does the chip fit in the ball? Right now it’s accurate to six inches, which isn’t accurate enough.

Put chips all over the ball, that way you can get an exact outline of the ball on the field. From there, its easy. And track the ball until the whistle blows. Forward progress becomes the key. Of course, they can still place the ball where they THINK it was if its a knee down situation and they were late blowing the whistle. But, forward progress situations would be EASY to do. Nothing to it really.

Way more. Unless you are talking percentages, then its likely closer, but I still think its significantly more on punts.

They'd have to get specific with it because of pushing the pile. The runner technically stopped and then his teammates push him forward

All they need to do is make it illegal to aid the ball carrier. It's the rule they used to have in place.

Equestrian, Kentucky Derby, Skiing, Fencing, Wrestling, Boxing, Baseball, all are not sports for you.

Equestrain, Horse racing, skiing... all true. Not sports. Fencing, wrestling, boxing there's a grey area... it has some 'objective' scoring, but people argue about the scoring all the time. There's clearly an offense and defense... and the tip of the foil, shoulders, gloves could fit into the 'ball' category, because that's how you 'score' in those activities. Why would baseball not be a sport by that definition? Which element is it missing?

And yes, its controversial, especially to fans of 'non-sports' by that definition. But, I posit that its a much better definition than most out there.

BTW, golf wouldn't qualify either. And I'm perfectly fine with that.

But that would impact more than just the sneak is what I was saying

Kinda thought it would be Epps since they only have one elevation left

You're right. And that's why it is the best solution. Those plays where the ball carrier gets stood up and the OL comes in to push the pile forward is more dangerous than the tush push.

I heard that Broderick Jones is having a hard time at the Steelers - he's a better athlete than Kenyon, but his technique supposedly is a mess. Wonder if he'll be a reclamation project here down the road as he fits the MO.

Goedert practicing at least in limited fashion

Exactly. The it's for safety argument is ridiculous. I don't remember an injury from the Brotherly Shove, but I'm sure it's happened. People seem to go down on punts all the time, though.

Click bait. Hot take. Just trying to draw eyes and $$. I don't give him the time of day.

Yep. They are desperate for engagement like this crud. Two teams who beat the Chiefs are below them and the Lions are 2 after the Pack rolled them. Rankings are dumb in general but this is just bait.

Eagles should be above Chiefs because they beat them but Lions and Ravens should be 1 and 2 IMO

Even after the Pack knocked them around?

Disqualified because of the Umpire calling balls and strikes … not objective.

Tennis used to not be a sport by your criteria, but now it is a sport. Thoughts?

Eagles should be at 3.

They will vault to 1 when the offense wakes up.
