If it wasn't for social media that guy would be working at Target

It's crazy how much the internet and social media have made people famous or relevant when they shouldn't be.

Yeah I tend to prefer simpler criteria like this. I'd just add that it needs to be rigorous physical activity. If you're not breaking a sweat, it's a hobby, not a sport. And yes that means golf ain't a sport in the same way that bowling ain't a sport.

Car racing?

It’s physically demanding, at the highest levels extremely so, but it still doesn’t seem like a sport per se.

Sure I guess, but watching a bunch of goofy looking cars make 200 left turns isn't how I'll be choosing to spend my free time so I'm not sure I care that much either way.

have you ever seen the fat F's that bowl? the sweat like pigs just walking over to pick their ball up.

Fat people can play sports. They’re allowed. I don’t bowl but I like the idea that that you don’t have to be a physical god to play it. More power to them.

Given the issues we’ve had at CB2, a funny and underplayed storyline is that apparently Josh Jobe has been awesome for the Seahawks in their two games.

Some players just need time to develop and an opportunity to play.

That's kind of why I'd rather just play Ringo, McWilliams or even Ricks (if on the team and elevated) over Jackson at this point. Jackson isn't going to become a better player in his 9th NFL season with playing time. Ricks sort of beat out Jobe previously, so there must be something there we can work with. Ringo has had time to develop and flashed a little as a rookie and again last year. He struggled this preseason, but hopefully that can be a coachable moment in his career. Mac probably needs more time to adjust to the NFL speed. But I'd plug Ringo in there and really ... he can't be any less effective than Jackson has been so far. If not pleased with Ringo, Ricks could get his shot. That's why we've kept him around the last couple years to develop.

We’ll see if by "calling it tight” that just means screw the Eagles or penalize other teams for stealing their cadence like Mailata said is happening on every play.

I listened to the audio and there was definitely a cadence call from the defense to attempt to draw the false start. You can hear it over Jalen just before the snap clear as day. "Go! Go!" They did the same thing on the 3rd down tush push (at the goalline) on the previous series, "Go! Go!"

If for some reason people have decided that being a blocking TE is inherently dangerous then feel free to ignore this.

Otherwise, Fred at LT and Mailata at TE for 4 or 5 times a game and just run over some people.

I will also accept Jordan Davis at TE.

I watched the refs hand the game to Tampa on illegal hands to the shoulders and an arm grab and pull in the end zone not called PI.

Is the league going to call those plays tight now or is stealing games from Houston cool now?

Watching Washington do well in miami just makes me hate the A Smith pick all over again…

Not included in the instruction: defenses lining up offsides, encroachment, slapping the ball before it's snapped.

Mailata said it happens every time

Wish we ran the double screen. Fun.

Assuming because they don’t have Kupp anymore

Doubt it. They have Adams now. I’d take him over Kupp

Look, Buffalo was pushing the runner!

But let's vote against us doing it.

I'm starting to think that pressure rate is imaginary and highly subjective.

By definition a hurry is anytime a QB is forced to move, to throw early, or to throw the ball away...

unless you want to pretend there is a magic 4 second cutoff and then its not a hurry.

I have seen an article where people pretended half of the Cowboys week 1 hurries were not hurries because 4 seconds.

I can tell you from watching both games that it was an honest 40ish % vs Dallas and much higher vs KC.

I have seen the Eagles at about 70%, 32.8%, and 19% pressure rate allowed after 2 games depending on who is putting out the numbers.

The Chiefs blitzed the Eagles 11 times but also 16 times depending on where you read about it.

They are afraid of Philly because the Eagles are too strong.

This is the truth. People were afraid of Philly in the 1970s in hockey for the same reason, the form of violence was a bit different though.

Can we trade for one of the Bills TE?

Buffalo's 2nd string will be in for the entire 2nd half at this rate

Good thing they got Fangio out of there
