Patullo scheming up so much Calcaterra blocking should’ve been a huge tell

Thats a dumb mindset to have in the NFL. We have our first Lombardi trophy to prove it.

It looks like the only way the Rams lose today is if they beat themselves.

America's Game of the Week is the Cowboys-Bears? What did America do to deserve that slop?

Hurts is out to prove those off-season rankings right

Totally his fault for having the worst offensive playcaller in modern NFL history. 2nd time in 3 years Siriani fails to bring in someone with a brain to run the most talented offensive in the NFL.

Only if a different group than we have seen so far come out after halftime. They COULD come back to win. But, they need to be the complete opposite of what they've been today.

Yeh I agree, thing is you can’t not capitalize on those opportunities against the defending SB champion in their house. Eagles will come out and get it done in the 2nd half, the Rams just letting them stay close enough to allow that to happen, that’s like playing with fire.

Isaiah Rodgers having a helluva day

What is he getting 5 or 6 million a year?

How do you even replace an OC in week 4

It's the NFL. Someone better is out there

I would also say they knew Kellen Moore was leaving. It’s not like they didn’t know like Jonathan Gannon taking the Cardinals job. It was a pretty forgone conclusion that he was going to get that Saints job. They wanted it to be Pattulo. That’s the reality. And some of this is sirianni‘s offense is in general is not very creative. Was brought up in 2023 and even at times last year. Hes not an X’s an O’s coach mastermind HC. Doesn’t help hurts hasn’t remotely played well enough in the passing game which was an issue at times in 2024. Also doesn’t help patullo first time OC calling plays for a SB caliber team. They should’ve gotten someone with experience with play calling cause there was always a learning curve regardless of the BS logic of plug and play coach

Yes and that’s why you build the lead when you can to completely eliminate that "could”.

If the Eagles come back today... I will call you the great swami for the rest of the regular season in all my posts. I just don't see it happening.

Plug and play like crap

Wanna remind everyone that Patullo has had ambiguous job titles most of his career. He’s not Brian Johnson, he’s Press Taylor

Pay attention

When Saquon looks square away, it's a run.

When it's a pass, he turns his head to look at where he can chip with protection.

Won't beat the dead horse about running the same plays from the same formations.

This offense is horrible and it's predictable.

I think Sirianni is an amazing leader of men, but a terrible offensive mind, and they could win with this last season because the talent was so overwhelming, but when you lose some key guys and the entire NFL spends months studying how to stop you, being a terrible offensive mind really starts to become an issue. Combine that with players just not playing well, and you have this ugly mess.

Patullo isn't the issue per se. He hasn't been great, but the Eagles always needed an outside voice to come in and challenge Sirianni's concepts, but since Sirianni won a Super Bowl, he won that power struggle, and hired "his guy" who would just run more of Sirianni's offense, and the Eagles winning the SB may come back to bite them in that regard with the after effects of that success.

Been binging Black Rabbit on Netflix...I'm like up to episode 5......looks like I can watch the last couple of episodes today!

If Lane is hurt he should be back in the locker room so we don’t need to see his hideous beard on the sideline

They won’t. That would require Howie admitting a mistake which he will not do in season.

-1 passing yards. You can’t even do that in pee wee football

I coached 9th graders for 7 years, we ran wishbone triple option and we never had -1 pass yards at half.

Thats fireable stuff, if patullo doesnt come up with something the 2nd half id have to seriously consider firing him, calling him horrible at this point would be a compliment

Shame I binged Dark Wolf last week. I need something else.

I get what you are saying, but the Eagles haven't crossed the 50 all game. Take the points. That's smart vs getting nothing. Those FG are putting the Eagles out of the game.

I just completely disagree. If I’m the opposing coach I don’t care what they have done the first half. They had a chance to create a huge lead, yet they are only 12 points ahead with the defending SB Champs getting the ball to start the half. If the Eagles can’t move the ball, you go for it on 4th and short where if you fail they start inside their own 10. If the Eagles can’t move the ball, you play the last two minutes aggressively and not worry about them getting the ball back with time. McVay is being his usual coward self.

if my math is right, he has 5x the yards of the Eagles offense on two returns.
