Yeah I understand that Adams has the reputation but Puka is among the best WR's in the league. In terms of scheming, they should have done a better job of putting Mitchell on Puka.

The blank stare he had at the same time makes me worry it might have been something more than just a stinger.

Didn’t notice that honestly, i was more admiring how glorious his unkempt beard is haha.

Who was faster? Davis on that run or Miles Sanders when Zack Baun caught him?

Torey Horton still impressing…

It’s hard to pin point what ultimately was the plug that unleashed the dam in 2023, but overall under Siri teams are very emotion driven. If Dean had not made that game saving INT against Jax, last year could have easily went the same way. Hopefully this is the shot (also like Jake’s long FG against the giants in 17) they need to turn the corner. I’m hoping it happens this early in the season too.

I was listening to the pre-game radio show driving home from the shore today... and they had LaGarrette Blount on. (He was an honorary captain today.). They asked when during the 2017 season did he know that the team could do something special, and he pointed to that 61 yard FG against the Giants... ironically, in Week 3 at home... in a 1 PM game. Ended on the final play of the game, with a walk off win. Some strange parallels to today.

Need 6 more sacks from Huff so the 5th the 49ers gave us becomes a 4th

Yep - he is missed. In my humble opinion (and Howie knows it) - he should have been the one player resigned. 4-5 mil per year is basically a 1st/early 2nd round rookie contract money. Depth alone would have made it worth it. No idea what he was thinking (or not thinking).

Becton is also making that claim but Becton is making 10+ mil a year.

It’s heavy hindsight though. At the time we had Jobe, Ricks(?), Ringo, brought in Adoree, drafted McWilliams. Added Bennett later

Every year we need a couple guys at positions to step up. Everyone does, just the nature of the salary cap era. We couldn’t have known no one would

On pace for 11 this year

He can't lock down both guys. They picked their poison, and outside of that one pass to Adams... they had him under control.

Chargers have the worst injury luck

Time to fleece them for AJ Dillon.

Any word on lane and his neck?

He said stinger and he expects to play next week. Not sure if that's a medical opinion tho

Philadelphia has allowed 14 points total in second halves this season

Fair to wonder if it was on Fangio & Eagles they couldn’t get Huff to have an impact. Obviously he was a dud with us, but given his numbers in New York & having 2 already with SF

facepalm. Both can be kept in focus at the same time. You don't have to let one rule over the other. So, let me spell it out. There were problems early in 2023, they were never fixed and the season was a disgusting mess as the season closed. Frankly, embarrassing. Then, 2024, the season started with problems and a 2-2 start, which was actually considerably worse than the start in 2023, but they corrected things and that led to the championship. Both years had problems, especially at the start. One year it was fixed, the other it was not. Pointing out the problems helps us keep realistic about this team as it currently stands. They need to get things fixed, or instead of ending like 2024, it will end like 2023. Right now, both paths are possible.

Of course we can focus on both. I've said repeatedly they need to learn from it, improve, not have first half offense issues.

What I've been talking about are the ones that "ONLY" focus on the negative and ignore the good things. Pessimistic, negadelphian, the Mike Schmidt quote. Every week.

Isaiah Rodgers with some history today… $7m CB we "missed”

Philadelphia is now 10-0 since the start of 2023 against Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Stafford

We might just have an "in the closet" Eagles fan there. Just sayin'.

I'm curious how Blankenship ended up isolated on Adams a few times. Not ideal, although he made one nice play.

We can only hope, in my boys chat i was telling them IDK if my blood pressure can handle another year of waiting till mid season to figure out how to play 60 mins of football. Going to need a lot from the pass game this year to get Saquon going.

Him being back with his old coach helps. Saleh knowing how to use him from jets days and now in sf helps

Feels like that’s gonna keep lamb outa few weeks
