Tbh i hope calcaterra is gone next year. I’m assuming goedert is too. But id be fine if in free agency if we go after someone like njoku and drafting a kid that can develop under him for a year and then year 2 have two good TEs.

Darwin Walker (going back a bit) caught on after he was forced to play. I believe Trotter 2.0 in 2004 was forced into the starting lineup. There are others escaping me.

Trust is important with some DCs and even the really good ones can overlook good talent that starts off on a bad note.

Maybe Ringo needs to be forced back into the lineup.

He got flat out beat by Adoree Jackson and they traded a promising young DT for another CB because Ringo looked that bad.

They could cut Calcaterra tomorrow and bring up EJ Jenkins and I'd be fine. I don't think the offense would miss a beat. At least EJ Jenkins brings 6-6 245 to the table. He's not a long term answer, but I'd be interested in trading for David Njoku. His contract expires this year and he's only a year younger than Goedert, but he would add some juice as TE2. Fannin is an up and coming stud and is the Browns TE1 now.

If we didn’t have goedert or goedert winds up having a season ending injury then I’d do it. Tend to think corner is the move they make at the deadline as Bennett and adoree are likely not good enough and also now hurt. I think with goedert you ride the year out and just try using latu more for blocking purposes instead of calcaterra. Offseason is check out njoku to replace goedert for 2 years while also drafting a TE somewhat early.

Latu's blocking has been tremendous. He's had some impact blocks in each of his first 2 games. He should be TE2 moving forward.

There’s still nothing out there besides fan speculation it was even Verses chain. There’s not a single picture of Jared Verse wearing it or even having it ever. I’d say it’s more likely it’s Carters chain from the beginning since he was #88 in college and #98 in the pros.

Siri called that timeouto with 15 seconds left in the game so that Davis could go across to the rams sideline to collect on his bet and get the chain from Verse. It all makes sense now.

JFC the ravens are idiots. Just run up the gut with Henry 4 times. Odds the lions stop you 4 times inside the 3 with him is minuscule and if they do tip your cap to them. And they have to start form basically the goal line.

Stats are wild so far this season…only 1 QB threw for over 300 this week. 5 QB’s threw for under 200 and won (a few in blowouts too). edit 4 did…mariota had 207.

Would really love the Ravens to win this one. Outside of TB winning, every team that threatens the Eagles lost this weekend. Homefield is imperative.
