My reading of the rule is the Eagles can't sign CJGJ because he didn't play 4 games with other team

I have no clue if CJGJ had any interest in going back to the Eagles (i doubt it tbh) but I also do not think it’s a coincidence the Texans did it after week 3 which made it impossible for him to go back to the Eagles if he wanted too.

Really enjoying the nickname I saw for the Jordan Davis walk-off blocked FG for TD game:

'Silence of the Rams'

🤣

Monty’s ego cost lives in WWII. Amazing the politicking that Eisenhower (and Bradley) had to do to appease his ego.

And didn't do with Patton to the same extent.

Well, I guess we're about to see if Ringo can bounce back from a disastrous preseason.

It may be irrational, but I have some optimism considering he has not been a major liability in the limited game reps we've seen in the past.

Hopefully this training camp was a blip on the radar.

I'm foolishly optimistic about Ringo. I think he has all the talent in the world despite his movement limitations. I truly think he got in his own head and lost all confidence during the preseason. Seeing him out on ST making plays and HAVING FUN tells me that his head is still in the game. I don't think he was having fun at all when he was losing the battle for CB2 and that can be an absolute killer to a guys mental state. Here's hoping that he's snapped out of it now that he's getting regular ST time again.

It was the rule, as of my post. Now it isn't anymore.

Coop the best in the league at this position. I would rather keep him there and he is an excellent tackler out of the slot.

Yeah, I want him to stay where he is at this point. If we had someone else that was a good slot corner then I might have a different opinion.

Generally, I think Coop spends half his career in the slot and then eventually moves back to safety once he slows down a bit.

Another source...

Has anyone watched the film and figured out what happened to Mukuba on Sunday?

NFL teams tolerate criminals, tantrums, guys that keep getting fined, etc. For that many teams to dump CJGJ after such little time, he must be a real problem.

That sucks, I would love to have CJGJ back, but oh well

Ian Rapoport put it out there back when there was talk about Haason Reddick wanting to come back.

.

Ian Rappaport is FAKE NEWS! I mean his handle is RapSheet, clearly a criminal! 🤣

CJ is a complete psychopath, and I would love to have him back!

CJGJ has always been a player where you have to weigh if the bad and baggage is worth whatever good he provides. I imagine Fangio didn't like him giving up so many big plays. He's inconsistent. Yes, he has confidence and trash talks (so do others). He did bring some "swagger" back but that same offseason they got Baun and drafted Q and DeJean. Nolan Smith brings a lot of confidence as well, and Carter brings enough of the attitude (too much, to get penalties). CJGJ would make a basic tackle and celebrate like it was the play of the game, and then give up a touchdown. He would get an INT and then give up a huge play.

Meanwhile Q, DeJean, Blankenship are consistent, and Mukuba is already out there making plays and will only get better as a rookie. CJGJ would just be a headache and distraction, and complain he's not starting or getting enough snaps.

You have to go into your media and delete a bunch of stuff to create storage space. You can sort by file size for the most impact.

Tbh the ravens in general find way to lose games in the playoffs. Mark Andrews fumbling a ball away and dropping a wide open 2 point conversion vs. bills last year. Against the chiefs in the afc title game zay flowers is going to score and fumbles the ball inches from the goal line. Lamar has had issues in those games too like bad ints but as a collective team they are good at finding ways to piss games away

Anyone else see this and instantly think of the Andy Reid in Philly era?

I was wondering that myself. From my immediate reaction to the game, I didn't notice him once.

If we are talking strictly about the Lamar era of John Harbaugh‘s career, I would agree. Clock management is an issue for both teams. I still think Reid was a better coach. The Eagles issues early were more their wide receivers were pedestrian until they got Owens and coming up small in big playoff games. Once Reid lost JJ the defense began crumbling. Whereas the ravens I feel like have the pieces on offense to win, but their defense since Macdonald left has been bad. They also find ways to lose games regular season and postseason.

I feel like early in Andy Reid‘s career, the regular season they really didn’t blow a ton of big leads in games. They were just very successful and then had playoff failures. The ravens even though they’ve had regular season success they have blown a lot of big leads in games and either won barely hanging on or lost. I feel like the ravens biggest issue is coaching. If they had Jim Harbaugh, instead of John Harbaugh, I think that team would have an entirely different type of attitude and probably be better off for it.

Shame on me.

Can Fred be a stop gap for a few years if Lane retires at the end of the year and can't get the OT they like in the draft?
