He played great but he wasn't robbed. Mahomes was simply on another level in the regular season that year

Hurts was better. He was the favorite and set to lead win it too until he missed two games. That team was going to end up with a 16-1 record or 15-2 at worse knowing they wpuld have ended up resting starters the final week.

Eagles didn’t elevate anyone. Interesting.

Don't worry, they already signed Nickerson to the active roster. We're set!

Player stats>team stats

Mahomes was simply better in the regular season that year. That's not an insult to Hurts. He played great. Someone else just played better

Oh cool. More ridiculous fines. The #8 chain he was wearing after the game is worth 10x that. As dumb and as petty we think these fines seem, it's literal pennies to these guys.

Basically it's you or me saying don't fine me $10!

They trolling the Eagles with this by chance?

But this SB winning offense with 11/11 starters looked this painful at times in 2024. And at it's best...the only real difference was that a healthy Dickerson and Becton were blowing open holes for 70 yard Barkley runs. He's calling the games the way they were called last year. An offense entirely predicated on the run can no longer run the ball effectively. That's a massive difference that is so much larger than the OC change.

The passing game has never looked as good as it did when Steichen was here.

It's hot but it's being made more of a bigger deal than it really is

Yet? Is there a deadline where they have to elevate?

It was 4PM.

I don't get it. You're given 2 extra players. You're down 1 DE, 2 CB, 1 WR and you have lingering injuries at LB and OL as well as an oft injured TE. It's going to be hot and humid. Why not dress as many as you can in case of injury or poor performance? What if the DE just get gassed? Having an extra for the rotation could be huge. At least once or twice a year, the Eagles make head scratching roster decisions by not utilizing every spot they can.

You don’t get to dress more by elevating. For every player you elevate that’s one more guy on the 53 you make inactive, so it’s the same amount of players no matter what.

I thought Gabe Hall maybe and Eli ricks would make sense, but I guess they just like the guys already on the 53 better

Really? I had no idea. OK, redacted. Although I'd still prefer Nickerson wasn't on the 53.

Jalen Hurts had great stats. And look at last year. Lamar Jackson destroyed Josh Allen in pretty much ever stat but Allen won it because his team finished with the #1 seed.

Again Jalen Hurts was the clear betting favorite prior to missing two games last in the year.

RMU playing D1 schools now? Aren't they still a non-scholarship FCS school playing a DII schedule?

But could he do that without the gloves?

Yea, there will only be 4 inactives plus the emergency QB. If they elevated 2 guys it would be 6 in actives and the QB

Huh? They get to dress 46 players, no more than that. If you elevate players from the PS, that just means you deactivate more players from the roster. 46 is a hard cap, you can't exceed it.

What's he doing playing defense?! lol. Those are some serious ball skills. Nice vertical too. Wow!

Skippy, how many more wins would your theoretically better OC have produced?

Socrates once said, "You can't be great without the greatness of others" Maybe it was someone else.

Patullo is a small man in a big job. They went like 12 for 12 running into the line on their first 12 plays of 2nd and short. A 6 year old playing Madden knows better.

How many games did they win with the idiot from 2023? 10 of 11. Keeping him in place for the next 6 and playoffs was a great idea.

We all knew Gannon was going to let Mahomes hit open receivers at will in the SB and maybe football philosophers posed the question

"Would we be extra at the Super Bowl if Gannon was not here?"

The problem with your question is it defeats the entire point of being a fan with opinions. Why don't we all just shut up and respect everyone even if they are incompetent?

The 49ers are 3-0. Jake Moody was 1 for 3 from inside 40. Would you suggest that Moody should still be the 49ers kicker?

The Eagles went to the Super Bowl with Siposs at punter. Why not keep a good thing going if no one has to be competent?

They upped it again? I thought it was 46 plus the Emergency QB, whom I don't count.

My UH Coogs channeled their best Eagles last night. Got their butt kicked in the first half, check. Trailing by double digits in the fourth, check. Block two field goals, check. The return on the second was not Jordan Davis style but took the game to overtime. Beavers get the ball first, move within field goal range but on fourth and one, they opt for trying a running play instead of sending out the kicker. For the first time all game, my Coogs stuff a running play. Then they move in to FG range and center the ball. Send out the FG kicker, who chips it in. But wait, Coach channels his inner Nick and calls a time out. Huh? Trying to ice our own kicker? Fortunately, they snap the ball and our kicker, channeling Jake "I don’t care if you move be back five” Elliott, hits the second kick as well.

Wife did ask why I was saying "do you think you’re the Eagles, damnit” several times last night.

A few years ago with the new CBA. It’s technically 47 but if you dress 8 O-line you get an extra spot. It wouldn’t make sense not to dress 8 O-line so it’s practically 48.

Third QB is #49 where he’s in that weird limbo of counting as inactive but not counting as active
