A few years ago with the new CBA. It’s technically 47 but if you dress 8 O-line you get an extra spot. It wouldn’t make sense not to dress 8 O-line so it’s practically 48.

Third QB is #49 where he’s in that weird limbo of counting as inactive but not counting as active

Yea, there will only be 4 inactives plus the emergency QB. If they elevated 2 guys it would be 6 in actives and the QB

Jackson, Lamm, and two of the OLB/DEs. My guess is Ojulari dresses.

Mahomes was not better in the regular season last year.

Mhaomes was barely above league average in 2023 with a 93.5 rating.

Lamar was 1st at 119.6

Allen was 8th at 101.4

Hurts was 5th at 103.7.

Lamar had 45 TDs

Allen had 41 TDs

Hurts had 32 TDs.

Mahomes only had 28 TDs and he played 7 more quarters than Hurts.

Hurts, Allen, and Lamar were all excellent in the run game as well. Mahomes ran for 307 and 2 TDs.

Anyone telling you Mahomes was better than Hurts last year is a KC fan or an Eagles hater. I get that its complicated for some people who are consumed with hating Jalen Hurts.

Mahomes did get ref assists, and his defense bailed him out, and the Raiders snapped the ball into the QBs leg, and the Broncos had their kick blocked and so on.

The 15-1 Chiefs had a 13-3 2002 Bears type season. They won a lot of games, but were about the 10th best team.

They got to the playoffs and lost 3 times. The refs cheated to eliminate both Houston and Buffalo.

Its hard to cheat your way out of 34-0 especially when everyone is watching for cheating.

Mahomes did pass more often than Hurts. Mahomes had 3 passes more than Geno Smith and 19 more than Caleb Williams.

They upped it again? I thought it was 46 plus the Emergency QB, whom I don't count.

47 but only if 8 OL are active plus the Emergency QB who is only active IF……..

Note: Its not about pretending Hurts was a regular season MVP candidate in 2024. Barkley was the MVP candidate for the team.

Its about not pretending that Mahomes was an MVP candidate or even something approaching Pro Bowl level.

Mahomes was about 16th best, move him up to 12th or so on clutch plays and drop him down 2 to 14th for very limited effect in the run game.

Hurts was about the 7th to 9th best QB in the regular season last year, but far far back from the stats season that Lamar and Allen had.

Burrow was probably 3rd at QB for we will vote MVP for this guy's stats.

ANY/A: Hurts 11 Mahomes 19

TD to INT: Hurts 6 Mahomes 19

YPA: Hurts 4 Mahomes 26

TD%: Hurts 11 Mahomes 17

INT%: Hurts 6 Mahomes 15

Completion%: Hurts 8 Mahomes 10

Mahomes did have 7 GWD which ties him for 2nd all-time in a season with Majkowski, Delhomme, Carr, Plummer, and others.

The record is 8 held by Detroit Stafford and Minnesota Cousins.

Ouch

Eagles minor league game about to start.

Georgia vs Alabama

Is UGA playing that one Kanye song over the PA?

I'm tired of the heat narrative. Just win, hopefully very convincingly, put this behind them and move on.

My bigger concern are the injuries. Get healthy.

Do you mean Kendall? Lamm hasn’t been on the roster for awhile now

They were talking about 2022

The problem with your question is it defeats the entire point of being a fan with opinions. Why don't we all just shut up and respect everyone even if they are incompetent?

I couldn’t disagree more. The point of being a fan is to have fun. What you describe is constant agita.

Said someone was better than Hurts and his brain melted and didn't even realize what season the topic was about lol

I thought the taunting was him gesturing the ball hitting his hand toward the Rams sideline which was a weak call. This is even worse if true.

Can’t edit my post with a Twitter link but meant it’s even worse as in wtf are you doing Carter worse

He may have cursed at him (still weak). I'm guessing he's under a microscope by the league for the spitting

Am I crazy, or have more preseason top NFL prospects faceplanted so far this season than in recent memory?

If PSU had a Qb and a coach they’d be contenders. My buckeyes will have no issues with a fr qb handling them in Nov.

Basically, the NFL wants to take trash talk out of the game. Which is incredibly soft/weak.

I totally understand the Nolan Smith taunting penalty where he walked up to the player to stand over him and flex. Thats different than running around flexing.

Carter was walking towards his sideline while taking. He did stop to turn around and face the rams team. Which I think is toeing the line. But I think as long as he didnt take a step towards them, and he was reasonably pretty far away at that point- well the refs made the right call not flagging it. I think the NFL is crazy for fining that too.

There should basically be almost nothing a player can say that results in a flag or fine. Fans cant hear down there. Whats the big deal? It would need to be something extremely vile.

I think Carter got fined because he didnt continue heading off the field. He shouldnt have stopped and turned around to jaw at them. Yell on your way off and continue in the direction of the sideline, probably gonna be ok.

Allar is just not good

This is what a boring offense is. Penn State is pretty much always the definition of boring offense.

James Franklin is a master. He's the best big game coach I've ever seen in all my years watching sports.
